The Official "I Love David Cook" Thread!!

Count me in, ladies. I was hopeless after he sang "Music of the Night" directly to me. Yes, he was looking at me, despite what you all might think. ;)

Uhhh... you must've been standing behind ME... :rotfl:

I just watched the Leno interview.. wow... I love a man who can sneak a word like "albeit" in a conversation...

One word nerd to another...

Cook Cougar, checking in!...I liked his audition, but loved his version of Hello...

He seems so smart too...I think that's why so many of us like him: he is a cute & sexy rock star, but has that smart vulnerablity that makes you feel like you could talk to him all night and have your own "Before Sunrise" movie with him...KWIM? I think he will be the most successful idol ever.

I already posted this on the AI thread -- but thought this belonged here too.

DC has 4 of the top 5 singles on iTunes. :cheer2:

He thinks he can tame me.....

This is from Wikipedia. If I'm reading it right, it looks like all three brothers have the same parents.....

Early life
Cook was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Blue Springs, Missouri. His parents are Beth (née Frye) and Stan Cook.[1] Cook's younger brother, Andrew, is an elementary education major at the University of Central Missouri,[2] and his older brother, Adam, lives in Terre Haute, Indiana with his wife and children.[3] Cook's parents divorced during his childhood; his mother remarried and now goes by Beth Foraker, and his father relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana.[1]

Cook's interest in music began early in life; he received his first guitar at the age of 2. He began singing in second grade, when his elementary school music teacher gave him a solo in a school choir performance. He proceeded to perform in virtually every Christmas and PTA program.[4] He also participated in choir and drama programs in middle school and high school. At Blue Springs South High School, he performed in musicals, including The Music Man, West Side Story, and Singin' in the Rain.[5][6][4] He had also been an avid baseball player during high school. After losing interest in sports, he focused more on music. He earned a theater scholarship to the University of Central Missouri, but he abandoned theater after two semesters, graduating from the school in 2006 with a degree in graphic design.[7][8] While in college, he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa.[9] After his college graduation, he relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma to pursue his career in music, telling his family, "I just want to give myself until I'm 26 years old to get a job."[10]

Has anyone heard when he will be at Disney?

Oh please let it be in 20 days when I'm there!:lovestruc

Turned it to Larry King just as it was going off. Did anything good come out?

I taped it. I'll let you know later. The couple of minutes I did see were of Archie laughing nervously and not saying anything coherent.

I'm not sure if I said this today.....

I LOVE HIM!!!!!

I have to say it at least once a day to release the pressure - otherwise something is going to explode. :lmao:

There's no name for HER but there's a name for HIM... :lmao:

and YES, I'm still having fun!!!! Remember, what I consider young may be the age of your old guy...
I think "lucky" would be his name ;)
I don't know....he's 49 and I'm 32. Not sure how old you are.

Back to the main and most important topic, it would be cool if he went to WDW for the opening of AI. I'm not far from there...I might have to sneak over ;)
