I wish they'd fire/kill off Mer. Ok, I know, I know, it will never happen. I'm just getting so sick of seeing over and over and over how self-centered and *itchy she really is! I really wish her sister would get with McDreamy or do something to screw her over royally. She needs to be knocked down a notch!

I dunno, the minute I saw the appearance of Lexie I got the feeling it was done to reduce Ellen Pompeo's bargaining power. The one benefit of having a large cast is that everyone is expendable, so no one person can hold up salary negotiations...up until now, Meredith was really the only non-expendable one, because you have to have a Grey in a show called Grey's Anatomy. Now they have two... you just may get your wish, they could fire her. I'd hate that, as I like Meredith. I know, I know, I seem to be the only one!!

I'm sorry, I just cannot buy these two as a couple. I hate that Izzy went from loving Denny and being rendered incoherent by his death to loving George in a matter of what, months? I hope these two realize that they are really better as best friends, because I am NOT feeling the love.

Not to mention that he was so in love with Meredith (in a middle school type way), then marries Callie, then is all-of-sudden in love with Izzy. All this in a span of a year.

I have to admit to feeling a lot of resentment toward the producers of this show for firing Isaiah Washington. .

I really really liked that character and his absence is noticeable.

Aw but they love each other. The problem is just that Meredith just doen't know what love is. Remember, she pretty much only had one-night-stands before she met Derek. And we all know what her relationship with her parents is like. She's just really screwed up when it comes to love and relationships. That's why she wants to just sleep with Derek now. She can't handle the intimacy.

I thought it was a good episode....loved the Mamma Burke! I wish they would bring Burke back.

I don't like Lexi and I can fully understand why she wants nothing to do with her. If I were in her shoes I wouldn't either.

Callie...eh, I don't really care for her at all.

I don't like Lexie much either, but that might change. I don't blame Mer for not liking her either. I didn't much like my 1/2 sister either when I found out I actually had one.....

I LOVE George. I think he is an absolute sweetheart. A doll. I don't think he will leave Callie. I think this will be drug out all season. I think he married her on a whim while drunk in Las Vegas....... while trying to get over Mer. I don't think he ever loved her, but he sure liked her. I think she loves him though. I kinda like her. I STILL think she'll end up pregnant (and I think she already knows she is) with Steamy's baby. (I just have a hard time with the time span on this show!).

I don't know how I feel about George and Izzy together. I love Izzy too. She is sooooo ditzy, but I love her.

I don't like Der and Mer. I think they are just, well, just destined to not end up together and I think this is going to be another repeat of last season and I am tired of it already.

I LOVE Mama! I want Mama to stay. Christina is growing on me LOTS. and LOTS. I didn't like her at first but I like her lots more this season. She will be able to whip those new kids into shape.

Bailey is my favorite character. She is so strong and so soft all at the same time. I loved her scene with Alex.

I didn't like Burke. Never liked him. was not sorry to see him go and am glad he is not coming back. I do HOPE they get another character in to replace him though.

I think the same thing! Last night when they were talking just the two of them and she told him she thought George was cheating, I thought those two need to be together. McSteamy needs a woman who will stand up to him and I think Callie is the woman.

Felt sorry for Mini Mer last night. I can understand why Mer doesn't want anything to do with her sister, but I felt so bad for her just the same. I actually like that character, I didn't think I would. They do need some more new characters though, especially male characters. Its kinda lonely with just Dreamy and Steamy and Karev and George roaming the hospital corriders. Someone said they thought Blair Underwood was joining the cast mid season? That would be fun.

I agree about George and Izzie. And I also agree they need some new male characters and I think Blair Underwood would be great!

I also think he's an outstanding actor, the best of the male actors on this show by a long shot. So its hurt the show from that standpoint. I doubt they will ever bring him back on though.

I didn't think much of it when they said he wouldn't be returning to the show but I can see now where he is greatly missed. I think he was one of the better male actors on that show for sure.

Yes. Enough of the shrinking violet syndrome for Callie. Thats not the way this character was originally written, and to make her so needy is a betrayal to her character.

He went back to the room and she had already gone. I think it was an ending that really left things open for her to be written into the script again if they decide to do that.

In last week's episode Alex said he drove in the direction of Eva, but apparently didn't go all the way. I remember reading somewhere that the Alex/Eva storyline will be reopened sometime this year.

I agree with most everyone on Callie. I hate her with George. It's just wrong. When she was with McSteamy this episode, woo now! That's a real man for her. I don't mind the way she looks - a little frumpy and very tired - because hey, she just started a very stressful job AND she suspects her husband of cheating. Can we just cut George and Izzie out of the script?

I have to say, the meth lab is accurate. The minute they came in with a kitchen explosion, I said it was a meth lab. Big problem up here.

I loved the entire time Alex was on the screen - holding the baby, still being the old Alex when he confronted the drug dealer, then letting Bailey hit him.

He was getting over his dad's death too, when he was so disillusioned with Bailey and the Chief for letting his dad have the radical surgery.

Here's a thought, maybe at some point George will realize he didn't really love Meredith, or Callie, or Izzie - because he's gay. Maybe he felt it earlier but couldn't ever admit it to his dad. And those brothers - oy, how would they react to a gay sibling?

I like Callie with McSteamy.

Dark and twisty or not, I like Mer and Der together.

And my guess is Alex will find Ava sometime during Nov. or Feb. sweeps.

Okay - I'm finally willing to admit it - I miss Burke... When the announcement was made about Burke being gone I didn't think it would affect me, but the show is different - it's like a big elephant in the room, that no one really wants to talk about. However they are because they've mentioned him in every show (albeit two of them) this season...

Christina is so interesting to me because she's trying to cope. She really did love Burke - like Der said "as best as she could" (or something to that effect.)

Mere/Der - they're over to me... It's the same thing over and over and over... UGH!

Bailey - I love that she's still harboring resentment about the Chief Resident appointment

Callie/George - They're done, let's move her on to McSteamy and see what happens there. (I'm sure she's having his baby!) I honestly think McMalley married her because it helped him to still feel connected to his dad at such vulnerable time...

George/Izzie - I like 'em! I can't help it... They seem to understand each other, and really that's what each of them needs right now... I'm not saying they're going to last, but the passion when it comes will be good!

McSteamy/McDreamy - Keep working on breaking Der down... They need to rekindle their friendship

Alex - awww, let Bailey beat up on you for confronting a drug dealer! Now seriously, go find Ava/Rebecca!

Chief - I want to see him and Adele... I thought that's where they were headed at the end of last season and I'm disappointed right now that Adele is brushing him off again!

How old is Mer in RL? HDTV does not do her justice. She looks too old to be the same age as all of the other residents.

Burke is on Bionic Woman. It didn't take him very long to get another gig. I like his character on that show.

Aww, no responses for last nights episode... Well I'll go first I guess! (Is it just me or is this season a bit, dare I say, dull - thus far... It just hasn't been living up to the drama of last season... That being said, I can't wait to see next week now!)

Okay, so my jaw hit the floor when George spit out his line at the end of the show... That one little sentence could make next week a bang-up of an episode!

Lexi - she's still growing on me... I actually like her a little more than I do Mere - which is not the norm with the group that I know that watches.

Mere/Der - ugh, ENOUGH already...

Chief - he's gonna blow it with Adele

Bailey - we'll see how long it is before she completely takes over for Callie

Callie/George - let's wait and see for next week!

George/Izzie - things might get good based on what George tells Callie. He's not spilled 100% about the *goings-on* yet!

Alex - he was back to his normal self last night... I truthfully hated him when he *outed* George as repeating his intern year - he needs Ava/Rebecca back!

Mark - let's find someone for him already... They're wasting a good actor!
