I hated Alex last night too, and just after starting to like him last week.....

I can't believe George just blurted it out either, but it is soooo like him to just blurt things out. He does that. "If you have something to say, just say it".

Yep, Chief is going to blow it with Adele, AGAIN.

I think Bailey will take over too, Callie is going to lose it and will not be worth a crap. Bailey is already showing her up.... that's going to continue. At least Bailey was nice about it

Mark will have Callie, wait and see. I still maintain my original she's pg with his baby....

I can't wait for next week. Can't WAIT.

I still love Alex, only Christine and him are truely strong 1st year residents. In the real world (yes I know this is just a show), the other would be eaten alive. The show was about Trueths, so it was only a matter of time before some on was going to spill the beans about George. It was all a chain reaction, Baily yelled at Alex, Alex told on George and then George told Callie.

I like that we are making Baily back to what she was at the beginning of this show. Now they need to make Callie again a strong character.

I like Meredith's sister much more than her.

Will miss the next 2 episodes as I will be at WDW.

I see this now - I wasn't really thinking that way when I wrote, because I really like George... He's one of my favorite Grey's characters actually... It all came down to "if you have something to say, say it!" But for real, Alex was finally having a heart - now he's back to his old ways!

Bumping up for tonights show!! I'm interrupting a very important baseball game just so I can watch Grey's for an hour....

Now my son asks me if it was football, would I change the station for that hour? I've got to say I probably wouldn't! That's because I know I can watch the episode on ABC on Friday... but still, I'm willing to interrupt a baseball game it's almost sacrilege in this house!

Ok. I have a time/age question. How old was Meredith when her dad left her mother? And what is the age difference between Meredith and her half-sister?

I am by no means an expert, but I think he left when Meredith was 7 & I think the sister is 9 years younger than Meredith...

Was it ever explained why Meredith didn't go into medicine sooner? I mean if she is just a second year resident and her sister is 9 years younger and an intern, she wouldn't have started med school at 21-22 like most of the other students.

That would also explain why Meredith looks so much older than any of the other residents.

Unless.... is Lexi supposed to be a prodigy? She looks like she's around 26, though, and starting her residency "on time." She doesn't appear to be a Doogie Howser, plus she was in the bar, presumably legally.

Maybe Mer's Father was having an affair for a while and Lexi was born way before we think.

Or, maybe Mer's enrollment in Med. school was delayed because she took of her Mother for a while before she went into the "home".

That's right she did take care of her mother for some time, but didn't she also travel & NOT go into medicine right away? Remember her mother was mad at her about that in one of her lucid moments....

I'm quite certain that the oldest sibling (who I think was Lexi) was only 2 years younger than Meredith & I do not think Merdith is 39 on the show....

I think it was said she went to Europe for awhile/took time off/partied way to much...then went to med school...
Also thought she was 5 when her mom left her dad (but could be wrong)

the write up for the pilot said she was mid 30s at the start of her residency ....we know Christina was 28 when she had her surgery because it was written on the board....other then that they never actually stated their ages

Lexi does look young but I think she is typical first year resident age 26ish

No, I'm quite certain she was the youngest of the two, remember she was married to a military person and she was like 22 I think....

Will they be reairing Grey's tomorrow night? The weatherman broke in and made me miss the last 15 min. and I'd love to see it tomorrow night if possible. I can't watch it online due to dial-up being soooo slow when it comes to that.

New to the thread, How many others here can't stand Izzie???? I am so sick of her character. I liked her before the whole Denny thing but now she drives me nuts.
