Whoa - no one had anything to say about this episode? I myself will admit that I was a little disappointed. It just didn't seem to have that "Grey's 1-2 punch!" like it usually does... I'm amazed by all the pregnancies running around Seattle Grace - who do you all think will be the next character to become pregnant? I'm betting on Izzie, though maybe it'll be Callie - in a last ditch effort to hang on to George...

I was mad at Jane Doe/Ava/Rebecca Pope - or whatever her name was... She's being snotty to Alex - and I think it's because she likes him...

I felt bad for Chief and I hope Adele's okay in the end...

Bailey was good as usual and Mere is just annoying again!

From the previews for next week I think it'll be a good season finale episode!

Alex used to be the group hoe He has slept with Izzy, the red headed nurse who gave George an STD, and recently he & Addison got hot & heavy in a stock closet. He "seems" to be having feelings for both Ava/Rebecca Pope and Addison but with him finding out that Ava has a husband maybe it will channel his efforts towards Addison - I like the chemistry they have together although him & Izzy were pretty good together too but that always seemed like a fling thing while him & Addison I think could make a go of it - all the comments about how his "type" is the bad boy but when they get a little older they make great husbands/fathers.

The #1 topic at work this morning was how EVERYONE is/was/wants to be pregnant! We are up in the air but all kind of agree that while Callie wants a baby, we think Izzy will turn up pregnant and that will be the end of the Callie/George marriage. I think Izzy will declare that she cannot give up another baby! Callie seems to be grasping at straws with the whole "have a baby to save a marriage" cliche - I really hope that they don't go there as I think it sends a bad message but hey, how many of them have ended up pg and other than Bailey actually had a child - Addison - abortion, Christine - miscarry, Izzy - adoption, and now Adele so it is a very fertile hospital! Although definitely pro-choice! And does anyone else think that they will expand on the whole Joe the bartender and the surrogate with twins dilemma. We all think that the mother will try to separate the twins and Joe will get 1 while she tries to give the 2nd twin to the other couple who has been trying to conceive for 10 years.

Chief & Adele - I just can't picture them killing her off, it seems like they have killed off so many characters lately even though Adele is just a small character on the show. With George's dad, Mer's mom and stepmom, Denny, it just seems that alot of people have already died and I would be sad to see another 1 go. Mind you I don't necessarily like/dislike her but I would rather see the chief & her divorce and maybe have her around once in awhile. I got the opinion the baby was the "other mans" but someone else at work thought maybe it could have been chiefs....thoughts

Meridith - I have a love/hate relationship with her character. She does tend to be whiny & why me but I can't help but feel for her. With everything she has gone through with her mother & father it is no wonder she's messed up and WHERE WAS DEREK in this whole thing Instead of feeling and acting like an insecure jerk he should have been there for her. Why did he just keep walking away like a hurt little puppy? She wasn't turning to any of the others but they wanted and were there for her and he just looks on from the outside and walks away.

My favorite character is Bailey!!! I love that she is rough on the outside but really has a heart when it comes to her true feelings about the others. From her quick retorts to put them all in their place to her being a rock and a mother figure when they need someone to really lean on she is a great all around character!

You mentioned most of his *flings* - but I think the one I'll never forget was the one with the terminal patient that ended up in Joe's bar... Remember she propositioned him to meet her in the ladies room and gave him an out in-case he wanted to pass... The camera panned in, he chugged the last of his beer and headed off to the bathroom... Great Alex moment!

And does anyone else think that they will expand on the whole Joe the bartender and the surrogate with twins dilemma. Ohhh - I love this idea, Joe seemed quite overwhelmed by the thought of two babies - so this is a nice fix to make everyone who is seeking to have a child content...

I too felt like Adele was telling us that it was her new man's baby... I think this will be something Chief will have mega-trouble dealing with, especially since it's looking like he's going to play a big role in *fingers crossed* saving Adele's life!

WHERE WAS DEREK in this whole thing

I actually feel a little like Mere's pushing him away - just like she was trying to with her co-interns... Unfortunately, Derek's a bit more "pushable" and it's going to hurt their relationship... He's been acting funny since he finally figured out that Mere gave up in the water! (God knows those writers wouldn't let them be happy together the whole season...)

So I don't think Izzy is Preggers, but after her little announcement to George about how she doesn't have feelings for him and Callie saying she wants to get preggers--I think Callie will tell George she wants to and then George will drop her. George won't want to have a baby with Callie when he loves Izzy. I think he's already realizing runnning away isn't going to help.

And Callie's face after Izzy little speech at the house was pricesless.

They need to get that actress on a comedy. She'd fit so much better. She was so amazing in Spamalot and I just think she doesn't fit in at Grey's at all.

Ooohh..... I really hope Callie and George DO NOT have a baby. That would be awful for me.

I also hope they don't kill off Adele, the chief is SO obviously STILL in love with her.

I'm also pulling for Addison to get pregnant right now, I feel for her in her struggle to have a baby. I was really hoping she would come back to Seattle Grace and end up p/g with Alex's baby!

See, I think it is Mer who is pushing Dereck away. He told her he brought a suit to work so he could go to the step-mom's funeral, and she told him it was something she needed to do herself. So you think she is just "punishing" him for his issues about the drowning.

I think they need to introduce a phychiatrist to that show, and get those people all straightened out. Then again, it would not be nearly as interesting!

I thought that at first last Thursday when I saw her but when I rewinded the show I wasn't as sure... in the first scene with her and her dad she looked different but I guess if you were going to your Mom's funeral you would look sad and not like you were going to pick up a guy in a bar. At least you would hope not

It would make a good twist if the sister set out to get Derek, if she thought Mer was responsible for the Mom's death.

I went on abc and looked at the 2 scenes again and they do have a very striking resemblance but it seemed like the girl in the bar had shorter hair than the half sister, and I could only see a profile of the half sister where the girl in the bar you could see her full face..but they do look an awful lot alike.

That is how I felt... Couldn't tell etither way...if they are not the same person, they definately want us to think that at this point.

I really hope the woman isn't Meredith's half sister because I'm really rooting for MerDer. Why can't they just ever be a happy couple?! And I hope George realizes he is supposed to be with Izzie. I like Callie, just not with George...I think their relationship is kind of...awkward? There just isnt chemistry.

I agree partly. I love MerDer. I honestly think I'm one of the few people who LOVES Meredith. Yes she is moody, but so are a lot of people in life. To me she is the most realistic character on the show. I have always LOVED how much Derek has loved her in spite of her flaws. I'm so disappointed with the way this show is going - it seems like Derek is acting the opposite way of how we have always known him, so out of character. I would SO hate it if the other woman was Mer's half sister. I'm hoping we never see her again, actually.

As for George and Izzie, eh, I don't like them together. I can't even watch those scenes. I'm sick of Izzie. Sick of her crying every minute. I don't think there has been a show all season where she isn't crying. And I'm disgusted with George. I like Callie better than the both of them, quite honestly.
