The Official GLEE thread

Rewatched this mroning and loved it even more than I did last night.

-Finn trying out for the cheerios has to be the best moment from last night. It was hilarious. I loved the look on both Sue's and Becky's faces.

- best line was Brittany's "Stop the Violence" when Quinn and Santana were fighting.

-The new guy, Sam, has a great voice and the boys singing "Billionaire" was good.

Ah, Dot Jones, I always get a kick out of her. A few years back she played a violent inmate on "Who Wants to be a Superhero?" I was screaming at the TV that that was Coach Kelly from Lizzie Maguire, not a real prisoner. Yes, I have no life. Yes, I watch way too much TV. Yes, I watched Lizzie Maguire, and no, I don't have kids. Please don't judge me.

And now, back to Glee. I enjoyed the whole episode, but the highlight for me? Mike Chang's abs. Apparently, I'm also shallow.

Didn't become a Gleek until over the summer when I rented the first half of season one...then proceeded to go into withdrawl until the second half came out last week. :rotfl: I ended up buying the complete season one...LOVE it..and I think I've started to convert my dh. He actually got aggravated with me when I started watching the dvr without him last night! :lmao:

That is funny because I think I've "converted" my dad as well. Well, not really converted because he'd usually watch it since we had it on anyway but it got to the point when he'd start recording the reruns.

I agree with charming23, Brittany's "Stop the Violence" line was hilarious. :rotfl:

YES! i couldn't place where Coach was from until I read your post.

Mike Chang's abs made me go O___O

I can't wait for the Britney episode next week!

I got to watch it earlier today on Hulu, it totally made my day! As soon as I think Sue can't be an crazier she proves me wrong. I can see a long battle ahead between Sue and Coach Beiste (I think Sue might have finally met her match!) I've already downloaded the music on my iPod, currently "Empire State" and "Billionare" are my favorites. I can't wait till next week!

Am I the only one who thinks that when Coach Tanaka comes back he and Beastie will fall in love? :flower3:

Perfect!! You can write for the show:)

He's not coming back, him and Matt, the other football player/Glee singer are off the show.

SPOILERS BELOW!

If you are on facebook and see the photos from next weeks episode, you see John Stamos makes his first appearance and Finn is back in a Football Uniform.

Glee tonight!!!!!!! They have all the songs for tonight's episode up on iTunes and they sound amazing.

ohhhh...there's the hottie! John Stamos never ages!

Brittany has the BEST lines ever!!

I don't really love that all they are doing is copying Britney's videos move for move! Even down to the head movement in the Hit Me Baby One More Time. It's kind of just weird. :confused3

Meh. Did not care for this episode at all.

Joining in. :wave2: I didn't care for it either. All this episode did was point out that Britney got older. I hope this doesn't send her over the edge again into head shaving or something. She's been "normal" for the last year or so.

Random thing: was I the only one thinking Brittany could easily Parker's (Leverage) younger sister?

One of the worst episodes yet. They didn't even attempt to cover any storylline aspects until 20 minutes in. The britney songs were done well but didn't fit anything, just thrown in dream sequences. A bit of story was done on Finn and Rachel's lives but afterwards they just made up.

The episode had no major storyline. You could tell any Glee follower two things:
1. John Stamos is the dentist Emma is dating
2. Finn and Artie are on the football team now

After that, they didn't lose anything from missing the episode.

Its funny how people react to different things. I LOVED the show last night. It was like the shows they did last year with Kristen Chenoweth, they really didn't have anything to do with the storyline, but highlighted the singing and dancing of the actors.

Yeah, I don't know how I feel about last night's episode. I guess all the Britney hallucinations were just kind of strange. :confused3 I'm actually kind of disappointed. Oh well, atleast the music was good.

While it wasn't my favorite, storyline driven episode, I still enjoyed it! And yikes, Britney is looking older, big time. I thought Brittany did great Britney songs. Hahaha
