The Official GLEE thread

Sue is so much like my Junior High gym teacher. Same haircut and no mercy. Every semester we would have to run a mile as a graded test. The only way to get out of it was if it was that time of the month. But you would have to show her proof.

I loved Sue's express train to horror. I LOLed at that one!
The wife (soon to be ex) continues to amaze me. What a psycho!

I love Sue! That actress deserves an Emmy. She delivers those lines perfectly. LOL

I loved the fall finale. I can't wait for the spring@@

I love Sue! I don't know how she doesn't laugh at some her lines and how others keep a straight face. I loved when Will and Emma kissed, I was wondering if she was going to let him kiss her since she's such an OCD germ-a-phobe. I wish we didn't have to wait for spring, what is the return date?

Hi Theresa! :wave2:

Honestly, she just cracks me up, and she gets some of the best lines.

"You've just boarded Sue Sylvester's Express: TO HORROR!" :rotfl:

Hi Amy!!

Jane Lynch was on The Bonnie Hunt Show yesterday.....she and Bonnie were hilarious....Jane was Bonnie's understudy at Second City. Jane is extremely talented!! (Though I don't like the movies like "Dog Show")

She's got the deadpan comedy down! I just caught an old Friends episode that she had a small role on, and she's funny as Charlie's shrink on Two and a Half Men. I never saw Best in Show, but she was pretty hilarious in Role Models.

I would love to see some Glee outtakes! :rotfl:

Ahem ;), the movie was "Best in Show", and one of the funniest things I have ever seen (YMMV of course). Adored her in "A Mighty Wind" as well.

Jane Lynch is hilarious. I actual hated her character less when they did the story line about her handicapped sister and the little girl with Down Syndrome who tried out for the cheer squad.

The actress who plays Sue also had a small role on Criminal Minds, as Reid's mentally ill mother. Personally, I love her character because she's so over-the-top. I find her hysterical.

I'm with the people who DIDN'T like seeing Will and Emma kiss. I know they've been flirtatious and all, but from my perspective--he just, just left his wife. His life and emotions are in such turmoil, he doesn't need to add to the confusion. I know she was leaving and all, but he needed some time and space. Similarly, she had also just been jilted--granted, by a guy she didn't really care for, but again, she should spend a little time reflecting on what got her to that place, before starting a new relationship. yes, I know, I'm over-analyzing things, just a habit.

I will have to look for the second CD for DD14 for Christmas.

I feel the same way about Will and Emma. I guess because I am someone who needs to heal after a break up. But I know a bunch of people who leave their husbands and the next week they are already dating someone else that they just met at a bar or party. I guess some people just cannot be alone. But Will has been with his wife since high school. If I was Emma, there would be no way that I would want to be with him right after he left his wife. I am over-analyzing too.

I stand corrected....Obviously, my miles did vary on that one:rotfl: I just remembered it was about a dog show.

Isn't it funny how they suck us in so we are really concerned about these characters who seem like real people to us? I was surprised by the kiss, but then again I do like a show that moves along instead of dragging story lines on and on.

I loved Rachel's performance at competition! I would love a DVD with all the musical performances on it!

DD's high school chorus director hates this show because he thinks it makes the teachers look bad. DD and her friends love it and want to start a glee club!

Am I the only one who thinks Will and Emma's kiss may not have happened, except in his mind? They kept cutting back and forth between the scenes and he was clearly still sitting there in a shot near the end, and then it was less clear after that. Maybe I missed something, but it didn't seem like we were meant to know for sure...

Notice that NBC has that new reality show-choir show, ala "SYTYCD" on? Everyone cashing in on the Glee craze.

I agree...it's very unrealistic they way they portray the teachers. It took me a while to get over that.

No I think it DID happen. They have used that editing style many times before....where they start singing in the choir room and then they are walking through the halls singing the same song. I think it's just a way to show how the song applies in their personal lives too.

I think that during this scene Will was thinking about Emma during the performance and then went and caught up with her later. But how much more dramatic it is if the music is still playing when he runs up and kisses her!

I agree....on other shows the "nemesis" or "villain" really gets to me....but on this show....I LOVE when she is involved because it is hilarious!!!! I read an interview with the cast and they said in real life, she is so much fun and lively on the set, she joins in with their singing numbers and everything.....then when the cameras roll, she goes back to being "Sue".

Does anyone else get that song, 'Don't Stop Believing', in their head after they would show a preview for the show?! Love it! :dance3:

I am very late to join this thread, but I have been watching since day 1. I haven't been this excited for a show, since Lost first started!

This show is costing me a fortune though, I have bought both CD's, but of course, there is a ton of songs not on them, so I have to download some of those too, and then I'll buy the DVD at the end of the month LOL!!

Lea Michele is soooooooooooo amazing, I have been listening to Don't Rain on My Parade over and over since Wed, wow!

Sue Sylvester is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe some of the things that come out of her mouth.

I have watched all the shows alone, but am hoping to get dh to watch them with me when the DVD comes out. He doesn't care for musicals, but this is just too good to miss.

I noticed during the whole season that her OCD kind of dies down as it relates to him.

Of course I Wondered as well--same as I do with Howie Mandel.

The return date is April---April 10th-ish, I think.

I don't get how they portray the teachers as unrealistic...:confused3

I am a high school choir teacher and I love Glee. I have already purchased a couple of the arrangements for my choir (Don't Stop Believin' and Somebody to love.) This show has also inspired my students to start their own show choir and has helped many students find their "voice."
:goodvibes
