The end of the article states that they are working on an All-Madonna episode and Indina Menzel is going to appear at one point!! Oh please have something to do with Rachel, or that would be a serious crime! They look and sound so much alike. Maybe Rachel dreams of the future?

From what I understand, Idina Menzel will be playing Rachel's bio mom on the show.

I'm not sure Idina is old enough for me to believe that. Or if she is, she certainly doesn't look it, and unless plastic surgery is her secret, I'd like to know what it is!

Really? From what I had heard, as much as people wanted her to play Rachel's mother (because they look so much alike it would be a shame not to do something with that) that she was actually going to be the coach of Vocal Adrenaline, their big rivals. Maybe they changed their minds since I heard that?

Idina Menzels official website said last week that her appearance on the show is still unconfirmed at this point. Let's hope this article means it's true!!! I have been mesmerized by Lea Micheles resemblence, both looks and vocals, since the first time she opened her mouth! I can't wait to see Idina on the show!!!

Idina is as old as I am (38)..and I have a senior in HS....who I had when I was older than 18.

ETA: I am betting she has the same thing to thank for looking young....good genetics!

Since one of her dad's is her bio dad, I highly doubt her mother would have been 14 - 15. I can see her being in college and needing the money.

Ok, I'm so glad you said that because I get teary watching these videos too and I can't explain why! It's not like it's sad ?? I thought maybe I had found some mixed-up emotional wiring in my head.

But I think it's because it's beautiful, all of those people coming together to provide such a wonderful surprise for the crowd.

I just rewatched the pilot and all they said was they found a surrogate, the didn't say anything else. So, I guess they can do whatever they want with her mother, if she ever comes into play.
