The Official GLEE thread

Just watched this weeks episode. I LOVED it! It was funny and poignant all at once. I can't remember when I laughed out loud at a TV show- but the football players just totally cracked me up. LOVED the coming out scene.

It reminds me a little bit of Ugly Betty's early shows. Campy and just plain fun!

Word of warning, if you east coasters consistantly spoil the show for the west coasters, or any show for that matter, I will use my Atlantic time zone on you guys to give you a taste of your own medicine!

kidding? but I love this show, don't care if people say I shouldn't, I do.

Are you kidding?

I know I don't click on a thread until I have seen the show so I can only blame myself if I see spoilers. :)

Wow, that was a GREAT episode. The performance of "Somebody to Love" was excellent!!

"....there's always Branson." :rotfl2:

Yeah, that was funny.

I wonder when either of the guys are going to figure out the truth about their ladies. Who will figure it out first Will or Finn? It seems like this type of stuff won't be revealed until the end of the season :(

I didn't like the last episode, it just seemed more like a filler episode... a one off character that was wayyy too prominent in the episode. Luckily the added stuff with the kids and the songs made up for it.

I was the same way at first. I was telling my spouse, "I hate this episode." Then when Will got rid of the "protege," our favorite "stand in" stepped up, and they sang that great rendition of "Somebody to Love." I looked at my husband and was like "... nevermind. It had a good ending."

I thought this week was a big let down from last week. The guest star is great and it almost feels like they wrote an episode just because they could get her.

Loved the episode. I want them to give more time to developing the other Glee kids like the gay kid in last week's episode. I think he's a HOOT! I want more wheelchair kid, or stuttering girl, or even mohawk guy. Make me CARE about the rest of them!

This was my favorite episode so far, but I LOVE Kristin Chenoweth so I was so excited that she was on. All of the songs were amazing too, especially "Somebody to Love" at the end. Oh and Matthew and Kristin singing "Alone"? One of my favorite songs! And then there was "Maybe This Time"- I love Cabaret. Soo good!! :thumbsup2

I love this show and I ADORE Kristen Chenowith so I was really happy to see her in last night's episode! I just wish that the show would stick to humor and music. I don't like all this teen drama stuff.

I really loved this episode. I was so excited that Kristin Chenoweth was on there. I love her the most from Wicked so I just kept thinking "oooh Glinda is singing with Link Larkin!" and "ooooh Glinda is singing with Wendla". Overall though she was really good and all of the songs were amazing.

exactly.

My love for this show continues to grow!

I loved tonight's episode, and I really loved the guys mash-up.

Sue and her journal was hysterical.

The mash-up was awesome! I love this show..watched the spring "preview" and both special cuts that aired. But..I am having some issues...lol. I agree with those that think they wrote last weeks script around Chenowirth(sp?). I would NEVER have aged Sue at 29..more like 40..I couldn't decide if that was serious or one of her self delusions. My ideal episode right now would involve seeing Will in a hospital hallway, hearing this from a Dr..

"i'm sorry..I would have thought the fake padding around your wife's waist would have saved her, but there's just no escaping the force of a Mack truck"...:lmao:

Anyway..looking forward to seeing how all this resolves itself...

Can anyone tell me if they all do their own singing?
