The Official GLEE thread

I am so excited that this is back on this week  Have been loving the CD also.

Weds is my fav TV night....SYTYCD, then Glee.

Question, who do you want to find out about baby drama first? Shue or Finn?

Great episode! Loved the Kurt and Artie stories. I like learning more about the secondary characters. So glad that Rachael got the solo...she really was much better...the song just didn't sound right with Kurt's falsetto.

Ugh, I can't WAIT until Quinn's secret is exposed!

PERFECT song in the "scenes from the next" with Shue singing "Don't stand so close to me!"

I loved the Proud Mary number!!! Must watch again.

I am glad Glee is back on. Yet I think last night's episode was the least fun episode of the season. I still love the show, but it was missing that cutesy fun element that I love so much about Glee.

Also, Artie getting all mad about the stuttering thing was kind of unexpected. I am fine with him getting mad at her, but I didn't expect him to stay so mad at her. I thought they would have worked it out in that scene. Oh well.

I am really glad that the Quinn baby daddy story is starting to develop once again.

I know I am probably in the small minority, but I didn't really like the music in the show last night either. It wasn't as unique and catchy as the music in the other episodes.

Okay, I'm very curious to see how they'll handle Rachel's "crush" since she seems to dislike Shue in most episodes, and has a huge crush on Finn.... As for this weeks episode, I enjoyed it, but not as much as I have some of the others. I can't wait for Finn and Shue to figure out what's going on with the pregnancies!

I'm with you on that one. Now I remember why I had such a bad taste in my mouth about Glee when it was over last night, it was the Rachel crush in the previews of the next episode. Why on earth did the writers of Glee make Rachel have a crush on Will Shuester? I just don't understand the need for that. There is enough drama and enough going on as is, and I am not a big fan of introducing that story line. It creates a dynamic that is unnecessary.

I would really like if the writing could go back to focusing on the Glee club and their performances. That's what I liked so much about the first 3 or so episodes and why those were my favorites in the series. It seems like the roles have reversed and they have toned down the singing, dancing, and Glee competition preparation so that they can have more scenes with the social drama.

I just hope they don't go this route, because I was pulled into watching Glee based on the good singing and dancing. That "Don't stop believing" performance from the first episode was great. "Rolling on the River" and Artie's solo from last night were laughable, IMO.

Loved seeing Sue's softer side, and her response to Will in the gym about treating people "normally". I have been so happy that the last two episodes haven't featured Terri or Emma. I love "Defying Gravity" but wish they did more with the moment.

I absolutely LOVED last night's episode. I think it's one of the best so far. The way they portray the relationship between Kurt and his dad is awesome! I love that they're delving deeper into that.
And I thought it was absloutely heartwarming to finally see a human side of Sue. Great episode! Yeah, it wasn't quite as lighthearted and fun as previous episodes, but they touched on some really great issues, and I thought it was GREAT!!! And I absolutely ADORED the whole "Defying Gravity" theme. I thought the choice was appropriate to the subject of the episode, and besides, I'm a true SUCKER for anything related to "Wicked"!!!! :lovestruc

I totally agree w/ everything especially the bold part. Last night was the first night I didn't download from ITunes.

I enjoyed the latest episode, though I can see the point that it didn't have as many humorous twists or big musical numbers. I did enjoy the songs, though. Kurt's voice is good, but he just doesn't have the strength or passion behind it.
I too like the relationship between Kurt and his dad - it's nice to see some nuance rather than stereotypes in the dad-of-gay-son role.
It was nice to see Sue's human side, too.
I hope the Quinn baby daddy thing comes out soon - that story line is starting to drag for me.
Will's wife annoys the crap out of me, but when they use her in small doses, she can be really funny.

I loved last night's episode. It was nice to see a different side of Sue and I really enjoyed the Puck and Quinn moments this week.

Next week looks interesting. Can't wait to see how Will handles those two girls.

I love this show too. I have been watching episodes online since I missed a few.

waiting for tonights show I have a meeting tonight I hope I don't miss too much of it :thumbsup2

I'm curious to see how they are going to play the Will Shuster love triangle (or quadrangle, if you count his wife). Also, I hope that some progress is made in the Quin's baby story line.

More than anything, I wish they have some music/dance numbers tonight that really focus on the music and dancing of the glee club instead of doing the "musical-like" singing numbers where one of the characters starts singing randomly (as they have done in the past few episodes).

I think I might actually like Kurt's version just as much, if not more than Rachel's. Both, I thought, were fab though.

BTW, I could listen to Matthew Morrison sing forever!

And Puck, way to drop it out! I love it and think Mercedes is wrong!

Wow! I'm so glad that it's all getting out!!! This episode is great. The songs are good, always love Kurt and I love Finn's mom!
