Someone take pity on an addict...a Gilmore Girls addict, that is!!!
I broke down and bought the first season of the GG...and I have to say-this show is like a drug! I just want more! Does anyone out there have the second season that they wouldn't mind me borrowing??!! I SO wish I had cable and could, at least, enjoy the reruns. *sigh*

Do you think Blockbuster would rent them??

I tell you...I'm desperate! I love this show!

We just started watching the show this year, and have the blockbuster online unlimited rental thing. We have seen all of season 1 and are working our way through season 2 now.

Mal - I guess Luke and Lorelai don't get along that well in real life. The producers are going along without a contract which could mean they aren't here for next season and there were a couple of spoilers that left things up in the air.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I just hope they don't end up putting Lorelai and Christopher together in the end. It seems like they have to really work to act like they like each other and their characters are always going in two different directions. Don't like them together (where is the smilie that is stamping it's foot?)

I literally just started watching GG because the Family Channel was running a GG marathon. Now I'm hooked. I've ordered seasons 1-3 and hope to catch up somewhat but it seems this is season 5 or 6 so I guess I'll be a little lost. I love the banter between Loralei & Rory.

I don't really know much about Lauren Graham but from that interview - I don't get the feeling she is a very warm or friendly person -

it doesn't sound like she gets along with Rory either - she said they have a positive relationship - what is that?!?!!

she also pretty much seemed to dog how she was in the beginning of the show - saying she didn't know much about acting - it don't really recall her being that well known before Gilmore Girls either -

I hate to hear how people don't get along as well - but man - they are great actors!!!

I'm so glad to have found this thread!!! I thought my mom and sister and I were the only Gilmore Girl fanatics out there! (They got me hooked on it a few years ago, and now I'm worse than either of them). We all live apart now (although sometimes I'll stay at my parents an extra day just to watch Gilmore with my mom at night!) and all tape/watch/discuss the episodes every week - and debate what's to come.

Another repeat tonite, grrr I hate waiting around till May sweeps. In May we are outside at soccer games, baseball, gardening, walking and usually not in the house till at least 8-8:30.

Mal - from what I got out of it...which isn't much, it shows Dean back. Then him talking to Luke saying something to the effect of he isn't good enough for Lorelai and Rory. Then showed a shot of Logan and Rory and then Rory crying to her mom.

Maybe someone else can help.

I saw a long preview last week for upcoming episodes, assuming they showed the same thing last night...

Dean says to Luke, in the preview, something like "they want something better than this, and all you are is this"

They showed some scenes with Rory and Logan...I think she goes to Logan's house to meet his parents, and Logan's mom yells something (I dont remember exactly what, but I think the jist was that she didnt like Rory...which was why she was crying on Lorelai's lap)

Another scene showed Rory interning somewhere (running down a hall yelling "i belong here, i'm an intern, i have a pass" or something like that

I read somewhere that this is Dean's last episode. He's totally done with the show.

Rory's internship is at Logan's dad's paper. It will be interesting to see how that pans out and how the whole Huntzberger clan is.

Bumping up for last night's ep. I liked it, but wasn't crazy about it. Did like them all getting drunk on the Founder's Punch! I originally wanted to throw something at Dean after his speech to Luke, but the more I think about it, the more he did make a little sense.

Anyone else think Luke was manic last night? I think he talked more last night than in the last 4 seasons...
