Maybe I'm easily fooled, but I thought Lorela and Emily came further in this episode than they ever thought possible-remember in S1 where Lorelai was telling Rory there was too much hurt for a recncliation, I think this is as close as they're going to go.

Anyone notice that at the end they never shut the hotel room door! I didn't like how they dealt with Lane giving birth. It seemed such a rip off. Though I liked the parts with Zach and Luke. It was a good episode.

I agree, good episode.

BUT!---I was soooo unimpressed with the way Lane had the boys! I wanted to see her in labor! I wanted Rory to be there to help her and celebrate with her. I think Zach would have been hilarious in the delivery room.
We were ripped off!

Also--good for Rory to stand up to Logan!

Hmmm..... Sounds like there will be lots going on before the end of the series. I'm getting frustrated waiting for a new episode now, it's going to be really bad when there are no more new episodes to look forward to

Since this spoiler doesn't have to do with the plot, I'll discuss it!

Seems Lauren Graham is warming to the idea of an abbrieviated 8th season (fewer eps like I believe the last season of Friends was). But no official word yet.

I have to say, though, that if they do go forward I hope it's better than this past season. I like reading the recaps on TWOP better than actually watching the show most eps.

I loved it. When it started with Rory's dream, I thought I was watching re-runs on ABC Family. They even dragged out her old backpack!

And Lorelai singing I Will Always Love You. How sad was that?

I was just coming to look for this thread. I've actually watched the last 3 eps instead of just reading them on TWOP. I figured, if this is it for the show, I should watch.

I was confused at the dream sequence too...I actually said outloud: "This has to be a dream; she has bangs!"

I did like the ep. I just loved Lorelai's expression at the end, and Logan calling her name over the credits. But, I just don't see that happening. And crap, I actually feel sorry for him. Darn it, when did I start to like him???

I hate kareoke (sp). That whole 10 minutes was so painful.

One of my biggest concerns is that Rory will say yes just because her dream job fell through and she can't find anything else to do. I really don't want her to turn back into that society Stepford wife thing she was doing last year.

I like Logan. But I don't want him and Rory to get married. Not until she gets her own career and life sorted. I don't want her getting married as a consolation prize.

Boy, do I sound like a mom or what?

Okay, I will admit once Logan told Lorelai what he wanted, the convo he had earlier on the phone with Rory annoyed me a little. When he told Rory, "In a few days good things will happen and you'll have moved on and be fine" (paraphrase). So now we know he meant the proposal?? And that seemed a bit cocky to me.

I don't think the writers would let the series end with Rory being a Stepford. And speaking of that, has anyone heard anything about whether it's ending or not??
