Did anyone else think the show was choppy last night? Is felt to me like the commercials came all too frequently.

And Taylor was a hoot! But Kirk replacing him ... maybe in the short term but not for the long term. At least I hope not.

I just watched and I agree. the timing seemed off.

I LOVED taylor and his various accents!!!! :lmao:

I really hope nothing happens to GG yet.

UPN, WB to form new network

The Associated Press
Published January 24, 2006, 10:46 AM CST

NEW YORK -- Two television networks, UPN and WB, will merge to form a new network called The CW, executives from the companies that own them said today.

The announcement was made by executives from CBS Corp., which owns UPN, and Warner Bros., a unit of Time Warner Inc., which owns WB.

Both UPN and WB had struggled to compete against larger rivals in the broadcast TV business, including Walt Disney Co.'s ABC, News Corp.'s Fox and CBS Corp.'s CBS.

The new network will launch in the fall, the executives said, and both UPN and WB will shut down. It will be a 50-50 partnership between Warner Bros. and CBS, and the network will be carried on stations owned by the Tribune Co., which is a minority owner of the WB network. Tribune also owns the Chicago Tribune.

Leslie Moonves, chief executive of CBS Corp., said the new network will air 30 hours of programming seven days a week aimed in part at young audiences.

Barry Meyer, the head of Warner Bros., said the network would be run by the current executives of UPN and WB.

I just watched last weeks show, in time for tonights!!
April kind of grew on me this week.
Paris is such a power hungry pain in the butt.
Lane needs a nice new boyfriend.
2 monthes!!? I thought maybe it was like 3 weeks. But 2 monthes, I would be totally ticked if I was Lorelei.
Bring back more Rich and Emily!

I imagine the letter was something like this:

So Logan wants you back hey? That is too funny. Don't make it easy on him.
Is Logan staring at you right now? Laugh, and he will be confused. He is still staring right? Asking you what you are laughing about? Laugh again, to really bug him.
Do whatever you want honey. But laugh one more time, for my sake, just to really freak him out!!
Love mom.

I can't believe that tonight is a rerun already. One new show last week now a rerun again. :confused3

I read this on MSNBC regarding the WB and UPN merger. It looks good for our Girls!

“Gilmore Girls” (WB): The girls Gilmore, who helm the highest-rated show between the two networks, aren’t going anywhere, although there are rumors that writing team and real-life husband and wife Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino are developing another show and thus may not return. Even if the writers should change, the show’s devoted, overwhelmingly female audience loves the “Girls,” and the WB knows it. Rest easy, fans. Odds of survival: 9.9 out of 10.
