The Official Gilmore Girls Thread

I enjoyed last night's episode for the most part and I am one of the ones who wants Lorelai to end up with Luke. I just think they're meant to be. Glad the Lucy storyline was resolved because it was starting to get annoying. I'm happy Luke gets to share custody of April. Sookie's pregnant again, not surprised. The way she was acting, those were some pretty anvil sized hints at what was to come. Although I'd be pretty ticked if my husband did that to me!

But in regards to last weeks episode, or maybe it was the week before...is it just me or could they have made Lane's pregnant belly look any more fake? It's like they didn't even try

It looked like they strapped a large beach ball under her shirt. It looked completely fake and not even believable IMO.

Any thoughts on tonight's episode?

I think Logan was really great to Rory, but she seemed as though she wasn't as into him as in the past. I figured she would have forgiven him about the Marty comment now that the air has been clear.

Once again, Luke was there for Lorelai when Christopher was nowhere to be found.

I think the trailers they show for the next week's episode are always better than the actual show. They make it look like its going to be good, then it never lives up to and I always feel let down. I really don't like the pacing of the show at times. There was hardly any Luke doing errands for Emily. He like did ONE errand for her and was hardly in the episode. And at the end when Christopher does show up, all Luke is doing is explaining to her what food is in what bag. No big deal! Ugh! I did like Logan's role in this one though.

UGH. This show is driving me crazy. The writers make it so that one week Luke looks like a jerk. Then we love Chris. Then the next week it is Christophers turn to be a jerk. Then Luke looks good. Then back and forth every week.
Drives me nuts!!!!

For some reason we didn't get the last two episodes here. So I went online and read episode recaps. But I obviously missed Chris being so choked at Lor. Because she wrote a letter? He thinks she still loves Luke?

I really liked Logan this week. Who thinks he is going to lose his shirt on this business deal??

I felt for Emily. She was dealing the only way she knew how to deal. Poor Lor having to be alone though all day. Made me rage at Chris! And I usually love him. See what the writers do! They get me all confused!:scared:

So true! Driving me nuts too.

Good thoughts on the Logan thing. She just seemed so "not into him" I know she suffered a trauma but ...well who knows.

Even my DH said the show was a sleeper! lol

:rotfl2: Did you HEAR the errand? Richard's car is somewhere on campus. Check the faculty parking lot and then all other parking areas and find it, fill it up with gas, and take it back to our house and then take a taxi back to campus to pick up your own truck. It was like a quest--not an errand. :rotfl:

I've never been a big Christopher fan and I think this episode pointed out the fact that even though Luke & Lorelai aren't together, he jumped in to help her. Christopher, however, was off pouting somewhere.

I am worried that Logan's business venture is going to tank, too.

I did want to shake Lorelai when she was being so upset with Emily about the power of attorney/will, etc. I remember when my dad had a stroke, my mom was the same way. Sometimes you just have to focus on the paperwork kind of stuff so you don't totally lose it over the emotional stuff.

Last night's show sucked......shame on the network 's teaser promo to make it look like Luke and Lorelie making "goo-goo" eyes on each other.

Christopher is a jerk....can't wait for his exit.

Hey, I actually watched it last night!!

I was kinda, eh. I did like Babette's scene with Paul Anka.

At this point in the show, I'm all for Lor selling her half of the inn, moving to Cabo and starting up a bar.

I really liked Lor and Chris together but after last night eh...not so much.
Time to hook up Lor and Luke!

Can someone help me find the spoiler site? I can't seem to find it anymore.

The problem is though, they could have just as easily changed that scene around.
Like, if Lor was with Luke now, it could have been him pouting, and Chris coming rushing in to be with Lor. Because we have seen that happen before.
Know what I mean?

Luke and Chris are really alot alike....stubborn, moody, pigheaded, jealous.
So it very easily could have been switched around.

That is what I mean, they are driving me crazy, working so hard to make us hate/love each different guy each different show!!

So true....
yes Luke.... No Luke...Yes Chris....no Chris..... yes Luke.... No Luke...Yes Chris....no Chris..... yes Luke.... No Luke...Yes Chris....no Chris.....:confused3

Suki sure has put on a lot of weight. Wonder why.

Thanks for the scoops. I'll miss next week due to Valentines's Day Hell week (I'm a Floral Designer) and I LOVE the good news.;)
