I agree, I don't think Richard likes the new Rory too much...and I think this is going to be part of the catalyst for him going to Lorelai. I have been wondering how he'll react if he announces to her that Rory and Logan are sleeping together and her response is, "Yeah?" Although I still can't figure out how they wouldn't know. Don't they see his car?? Can you tell, this is bugging me!

Re the affection between L&L, I agree I noticed the no kiss thing. But I also noticed last week or the week before he was spooning her in bed before he got up (i think it was after Paul Anka ate the chocolate). I even pointed it out to SO. I think they are making this out to be more Lorelai distance than Luke. Why do I envison a grand Christopher reunion at Rory's Yale graduation?

I hope so! I LOVE those two together. I think they have always had way more on screen chemistry than Luke and Lor.

I like Lor and Luke together, just wish they would act more lovey-dovey. All those years of chemistry and sparks, and loving/lustful glances, hints and flirting before they were together. And now-nothing!!??!!

I agree, all the flirting and no follow up. Not that I expected either of them to be hanging all over each other or anything, but a peck every now and then or a hug hello or goodbye...... DH (not very PDA prone) at least gave me a peck when in public to say hello and good bye while dating, and still does so today.... just my opinion though.

I also think it would be the real clincher if after Rory graduates, Lor and Christopher get together for good.--- oh well got to get back to Yale first.

He's ok as her father but the relationship between him and Lorelai seems really forced when you watch them.

As for Luke & Lorelai, I didn't really pay that close of attention to notice they didn't hug or kiss when she left the diner. Guess I wasn't paying attention But, Luke really isn't the kind of guy to have a ton of PDA all over Stars Hollow JMO.

I am just not a Christopher fan. There's just too much baggage from the past between them, I think. I really love Luke & Lorelai together but it seems like Lorelai is sort of pulling away from him. What was the whole deal with sending him camping. I didn't buy it when she told him that it was because she didn't want him to stop doing it just because of her. She was looking at him oddly at Sookie & Jackson's house, too, like she thought the oddball goings on ought to be bothering Luke even though they weren't. I'd be HAPPY if my bf didn't freak out over my friends (not that dh ever has.)

Ya, I was wondering what that look meant too, at Sookies when everyone was up and Luke was just sitting there calmly eating. Was it a "Boy, he has a lot of patience, he will be a good dad" look, or a "why isn't he weirded out, can he handle being a dad and my strange friends" look?

Maybe it was why isn't he complaining look.... that is one thing I miss about him, he's been in such a good mood since TJ isn't fixing the house anymore---- no luke grumblings!!!

No, I found it quite boring as well---they made the preview last week look so exciting. Who cares about street names--"Sores and Boil Alley" what genius writer thought that one up!
