We have been members for 17 years and have used our points for cruises, exchanges, renting/tranferring, Disney World and Disneyland reservations so we have experienced many different ways to use your points.

I have owned at BCV since 2003 and also own at SSR. I am 34 y old with no kids, and totally recommend the DVC membership. People think because they don't have kids, they shouldn't join, and that is so far from the truth. Hi, I have not been able to determine this, so I would recommend definitely providing a referral name if you are now purchasing. The worse they can say is no, and you might gain a nice Gift Card!!

I would imagine you would still receive the incentive, however it could be the person you use as your referral might not qualify for the "Sharing the Magic" reward. I'd say go for it and see what happens...good luck!
