The dumb part about Reese's death is that they all kind of stood looking at her when Sonny said "she's not breathing".

I just realized that the new Carly is a girl (woman) from my hometown and used to live right up the street from me. She was on All My Children about 12 years ago (can't remember her character) but was a roommate with Kelly Ripa back when they were on that show.

I like the New Carly. I don't remember her from AMC, but do remember her from Loving. I think her character's name was Allie and she was involved with a man named Cooper. Does that sound right?

BTW, did i just see the last Carly on the sitcom "Freddie" (Freddie Prinz) ?
Is she a regular on that show, or was it a one time deal?

That's right!! She was on Loving, not AMC. I think I got that mixed up because she was living with Kelly Ripa, who was on AMC.

Okay this is bugging me..the whole debt thing with Elizabeth and Lucky. I realize they are nurse and police officer...but they are pretty good paying jobs with good benefits. My son is a police officer and his medical benefits are really good. I mean together they should be doing okay. Not sitting on a pile of money..but doing okay.
I can see when Lucky was in hospital first time..wasn't on the job at the time..and then the whole surrogate thing to pay for that. But here they are married...and she is employed and he is employed....and they have "new medical expenses"..doesn't ring true. It's like they have to make them look like poor slobs compared to Nicolas or Jax.

I agree. I was just gritting my teeth when I watched this. The writers could have "said something" with this storyline. I think they are bungling it.

I was thinking the exact same thing....I havent heard of a police dept yet that didnt offer health insurance and Elizabeth's insurance would be secondary....In real life probably wouldnt cost them a penny....I wonder if TPTB on GH have any idea about real life and what is the norm. It is just an unneccesary plot to include.
OK....what is up with Emily feeling faint....I havent been able to watch the whole show for the last week but turned the set on when Emily was in a hospital bed and something was said about her feeling faint or dizzy....Will she be preggars and throw that into the ploy twist. I wish Court and Jax would just get back together, at least for awhile....I want someone to be happy on the show for at least a few weeks....

Yes, money is tight.. but they SHOULD be covered for some of it.

oh.. and btw.. I think letting Nik loan them the money to pay off the debt is a wee bit more sensible than surogacy solution.... but then we are in Port Chuckles..

You can tell they are changing storylines at GH. Everybody seems to have been mixed with everybody else the past few weeks. Which I like the shake up.. I would like to see some of the vets stay on screen with definitive storylines.

I'm also not seeing any chemistry between Courtney and Nicholas. They seemed to playing it as if Emily and Nicholas were going to be reunited when they were traped in the tunnel...Emily was so devasted when she thought he was killed. And the glances they shot back and forth..with Courtney watching on of course. Now they are out of the tunnel (thank God)...and Nicholas and Courtney are in "love". I'm not seeing it. Isn't there for me.

I'd also like to see Courtney be on her own for a change without running from one man to a next. I think she should make Jax work for it a bit...and how about telling him something along the lines of..."oh now you love me?..coincidentally pregnant with your child..while a month ago you called me a slut.".....remember that sceene? She sure got over that pretty quick.

Isn't that what all of the women on GH do? A long term relationship on this show is 2 months!

I also like NuCarly. I have no problems seeing her in the role. I hope she gets her club back. That character needs something else to do.

OK, I haven't read any spoilers lately and I may be way off. But I'm getting this sneaking suspicion that Jax is really NOT the baby's father and he knows it. Did anyone else notice him exchanging odd looks with Dr. Meadows in the last couple episodes? I hope they don't dredge up the same old plot they've used before, where someone (Jax in this case) pays off someone to change the paternity results.

So maybe Nik & Emily will FINALLY reunite, and Jax & Courtney will FINALLY reunite. All will be hunky dory when -----KAPOW! Out will come the news that Nik is really the baby's father.

Sigh. I really hope I'm wrong. I'd hate that plot, and it's been done before. But I have a funny feeling...
