Is Tamara really coming back? I think it might work as they will be sending Carly for "Ferncliff" to recover till Tamara can come back. I feel sorry for Jennifer, she really had a lot against her, coming into a major storyline cold and people were upset about Tamara leaving. I'm sure she'll end up on her feet somewhere. Sadly somethings don't work out.

Dr. Robin Scorpio returns to GH on October 12th when she is called home from Paris for an emergency (Jason).

So Robin isn't specializing in HIV research? They've made her a neurosurgeon? What a shocker lol.

I know this should be ideal for bringing her back on the canvas, but what a waste that we will only see Tony Jones in 2 or 3 scenes. Hasn't it been nice seeing Bobbie here and there? Wish it was more here than there.

Wow! I just read all of the "Backstage Buzz" and got the information JennLynn. I didn't think that Tamara could come back because she is in the middle of a movie. I hope it's true though. I really like her. She did a good job as Carly.

I read her movie was done filming in August. It would be good to get her back. I hope they have to grovel and give her everything she wants after the way she was treated.

I always liked the Robin character....I know that great strides have happened with treating AIDS and Robin left with the disease....so I guess she must be on some miracle med cocktail that is keeping her healthy....It has been a number of years....wouldnt she be having complications by now....

This show is terrible.

I don't think we will see Tamara back. Why would she? She just finished a lead role in a movie.

I feel bad for Jennifer Bransford. She reminds me much more of Sarah Brown's Carly than of Tamara's. People hated Tamara too when she started. It was just such bad timing all around. I haven't liked the Carly character in years so JB doesn't bother me too much since I usually FF Carly (and Reese, Sonny, Emily, Courtney.....)

Everything else is dumb.

I loved Robin duing the Robin/Stone stuff so I'm hoping that's how she returns.

For me OLTL is the only soap worth watching and even that is frustrating.

I just read on another website that Tamara is coming back - tomorrow! Apparently, GH made her an offer she couldn't refuse. With the direction the character of Carly has taken, it's hard for me to imagine Tamara back in that role though.

Good, maybe she can get the show rolling again....I havent watched the show in over a week.....I remember a time when I would stay up until the wee hours to watch if I missed the show during the day and the early showing on soapnet....not anymore.....
I wish they would allow for some romance on the show....It seems like just when everyone starts to feel the chemistry with a couple on the show....tptb pull the couple and change things....You can become "invested" in any storyline....they either drag out a totally stupid story or break up a great romance....story in point, Jason and Sam....just when things got good they stalled the story with the current twist.
I remember back in the day.....when Steve/Audrey, Rick/Lesley, Monica/Alan were romancing it was fun to watch....and you rooted for the couple....

My gut feeling is she's starting to tape tomorrow and we'll see her in about 3 weeks. In the meantime Carly will be "away" in Ferncliff and we won't see her only hear about her. Anyway that's my 2 cents.

That would be great if she is coming back. I really just couldn't warm up to the present Carly...changed her character entirely. Just a loon.
I am pretty sick of seeing the same story over and over and over...the Sonny, Carly...Sonny is betrayed(even though he is populating freakin' Port Charles )...and can't forgive Carly..but does...and then he is betrayed..AGAIN.Why don't they show his wife feeling BETRAYED...that the man can't keep his zipper up? So now they just have same storyline with a new actress... Is that supposed to make it new?..It's so old, don't these writers have a fresh idea?

While I agree I'd like to see some of the older ...more rooted characters regain some part of the show...like Allan or Monica..or where the heck is Luke???? What about puting Bobby, and Tony...out there..have they vanised out of Port Charles all together...and Mac...as a real person...not just an irritated police chief, or...I mean really give them a story line..not just have them be window dressing.
I am soooo sick of the kids...as I've said before..I've got teenagers,...if I want teenage drama...I'll talk to one of my kids.They are more interesting and not nearly as STUPID as this dopey group.. God help them. Even my daughter who is 18 thinks the Georgie/Dylan...and the whole group..is boring. Personally, I usually vacuum when they are on! So I guess they serve a purpose.
Now...Robin....I could have had a party the day the girl left. The winey....winey...Miss Goodie two shoes...was just too much. And now she will be a nuerologist?...Figures..she was a head case.
Can the show stand two winey butts...Robin and Emily.?..they should just morph the two into one person..so as not to torture the viewers with extra doses of wine. One of them will have to go.
I don't know....I've watched this show for some 25 years..and seen it through many changes...but this is just out right BORING! They turned it into a four person show..and now...SURPRISE!..one of the four is losing his memory ...AGAIN!
They should just re-freeze Port Charles...now THAT was a believable story line...hey at least it was INTERESTING!

I started watching again last week for the Jason story. It's the only reason I am watching. Can't stand Sonny/Reese/Jax/Courtney/Nikolas/Emily.

Oh I hope beyond hope that they bring back the Scorpio's! Robert vs. Sonny. That would be great! And throw Luke into the mix. What a story potential that would be.

That would be the ONLY benefit to bringing back Robin..tying in the Robert and Anna Scorpio thing. That would be fabulous...with Luke back..that would be like the old days..and lets not forget they could involve Mac in that story line. The likelihood of that happening...I don't know. I think they don't want to pay the salaries required for that, ...they have a bunch of little ...to some extent lesser stories. Maybe they can put the Emily/Robin character as one..just to spare us the tedium of listening to double wine..perhaps...Robinly?.. I'd just like to see someone over 40 being portrayed as a vital..important part of the show..not as an elderly...feeble side kick! It looks to me that if you are over 40..you are out to pasture. They conveniently have them brought in to read the Christmas Story at the hospital....or when something parental needs to be conveyed. By looking at this show..if you are over 40..you may as well not live in Port Charles...because there is nothing for you to do or to contribute. I love the way that they have the teenagers...but these teens don't have families or parents that have an active part of the show. All they do is have them show up for "I told you so " sort of sceenes in which the kids are featured. I guess you can tell I'm in my 40's....but have been watching for some 25 years...and the characters I've been watching for years have all dried up somewhere.
They age the kids so quickly that it doesn't make sense for the parents to be around...it would look ridiculous.
