Has anyone noticed how Elizabeth's new home is really very nice? I love it. Only I was thinking that when she and Lucky were together(before they moved into Laura's house) they were this "poor" couple. Living in a one bedroom place where they slept on a sofa bed. Which of course was nuts. She's a nurse and he's a cop..and they had no medical benefits...they were always paying off medical bills. Yeah..right. Between the two of them I always thought they could make a decent living..yet they portrayed them as this struggling poorer than poor have nothings. Yet here Elizabeth is seperated...and she is able to afford this really lovely home? Think they have things backwards? I do enjoy the new set however. Nice to have something different to look at.

I think they tried the whole struggling angle because they were suppose to be so new in their profession AND the fact that they are suppose to be more normal compared to Nik and Emily who have such wealth at their disposal.But when she moved in, she was suppose to be renting a furnished places that Em helped her get.

What could we do to get Rick a better story line???

Maybe we get Rick to team up secretly with Johnny to oust Trevor but make Trevor believe that Rick is helping him. When it gets too much for Rick, he asks Sonny for help and the don't forget but they forgive...Also, I don't want him as DA anymore...It's just not him.

Spinelli really needs to stop pinning for Lulu...Maybe a love triangle for him where he finally decides on Georgie and SAVES her from being killed but she heads for Paris to recover.

For Jason, maybe a crisis with the Quartemanes that only he can handle.

It was fun watching Alan, but in real life it doesn't happen. I just wonder why they are using the same scenario. Did Alan finally see the light and is he leaving Tracy alone?

I know somewhere in this thread I said I was never keen on NL as Emily. I have to say the bit yesterday when she realized she was dead, pretty much had me. I think that's probably something I need to save for a therapist or maybe some spiritual leader, but it said a lot to me, and I really found it very emotional and sort of profound (yes I know it's only a soap, but it's a topic I struggle with) I loved Nic saying how he didn't care if he was insane, he would take what he could get. Who knew I was a romantic huh? (please don't laugh at me!!!!!)

I never liked that 'struggling' storyline. Then she would be carrying around designer purses and wearing new scarves every other day.

Anyway, she has to have a nice new house so her and Jason can have lots of sex in her bedroom.

There is an announcement on her website, but no other details. There was an anon. insider awhile back saying that she was returning to play Sarah Webber. It was laughed off, but maybe it's true!?!?

I did love her as Carly. I still compare all other Carlys to her.

I love love love Laura Wright (I truly adore her), and I would HATE to see her leave, but Sarah Brown has been the one and only Carly for me---- she was too unique of a character to replace IMO. Sonny and Carly were never the same to me once SB left. I can't see SB coming back as someone else. Can't Laura Wright play someone else, and give me my Carly back???



On another note THANK GOD STEVE GOT HIS HAIR CUT!!!!!!!!! I know it was for a movie he was filming, but I'm so glad to see that long hair go!!!!!!!!

I don't know how I feel as SB coming back. I think that it's been long enough that she could come back. I wonder if they are going to pair her with Nicholas since Em is dead.

I don't want Sarah Brown back as Carly. I can't picture her with Jax or Sonny at this point. I think she did a wonderful job when Carly was a b**** and caused all that trouble for Bobbie etc.
I think Laura Wright is perfect for right now. I believe her relationship with Jax and her friendship with Jason. She can be b****y without seeming overly harsh. She's a softer Carly than the way Sarah played her. JMHO.

I like Laura also. Sarah was great as Carly and I missed her as that character for a long time, but Laura plays a more mature Carly that I can't
picture Sarah doing. I wouldn't have a problem with her in another role because she is a great actress, but I like Laura where she is.

I think she might be coming back as someone else and we are all just talking about how we liked her as Carly.

See I like Laura but think she is an older Carly than I would believe Carly to be age wise. Same way it drives me alittle nutty for them to keep acting like Nik is the same age as Lucky, Liz and Emily. He is not he was a good bit older than them when he came on the show. That was the whole reason Em followed him around like a puppy, he was older and more sophisticated. I know Soaps and aging. I will not even get into Lulu and her aging and how her father was never there for her, could be that they aged her so quick he did not have time to be there, I mean she went from 5-16 over night even the best parent could not cram time into that.

She is returning, it's on her official website. No other details as to the character she will be playing. Strong rumor though that it will just be temporary.
