Just to let you all know, the premature posting of future discounts has happened twice before, once the dates changed quite a bit, the other time, they stayed identical. I am sure Disney is messing with dates every day, so expect the dates posted to change slightly. I doubt they will decrease the number of days, though they may lengthen the time it is available some.
Last year, they offered the deal twice, once starting on August 13 - September 30 (released 4/1 to Disney VISA cardmembers, and 4/4 to the general public) and again for August 19 - September 30, however, the second time around, it was not free dining it was a nightly discount.

I do have a question though. I'm an extremely light eater. When Dh and I went, we got the dining plan and I picked from his plate most meals. We used the credits we saved for signature restaurants that required 2 credits. That was well worth. This fall, I'm going with a friend who isn't as hearty an eater as Dh and we don't really care about fancy restaurants. I doubt we finish as single TS meal between us. Do you think it would actually save money in the end to stick with the room only and hunt down a code on that or an AP rate while paying OOP for our dining as opposed to paying rack rate for the room with free dining? Are AP rates really becoming that scarce? If they have free dining is it at all likely they'll run another promo at the same time like an AP rate or room only code?
Does anyone know if Free dining was offered to Family Suite Rooms in ASMu last year or during bounce back?
I believe it wasn't only because the rooms were not available to book yet. I am sure they will be part of the DDP this time around.. why wouldn't they bePOR has 5 to a room and they can book[/QUOTE
Thanks for the info. Their is 5 in our group. 3 are planning on going with or without free dining. 2 can only go if dining is free. We would like to stay in the suite if possible so we would not have to book 2 rooms. Plus the convenience of the mini fridge and microwave would come in handy with left overs from the DP.
No, the new family suites were not a part of the free dining package last year.Does anyone know if Free dining was offered to Family Suite Rooms in ASMu last year or during bounce back?

Here's something that just showed up on the budget board. I don't know if it's legit or not.![]()
Found it! Looks like an email was sent to disney cardholders on 3/31 for bookings beginning on 4/1. So with the three day speculation for Visa cardholders it looks like it might be an email on the 8th for bookings beginning on the 9th, open to the public on the 12th. I know I didn't get the email last year but booked on or about the 5th even though I have a disney visa. I made changes well after that and they even extended it. But with the UK and BB program it will probably be much more limited as many have speculated.

Just got an email that will be of interest to all of you waiting for summer codes. Disney Visa card holders can book a 5 night stay at a Value resort, including 6 day park tickets and the dining plan for $435 per adult, $176 per child 3-9, for stays August 13- Sept.30th.
This will be released to the general public April 4th.
Sounds like a great deal to me. As a Florida resident I can't help but think of it as,"the hurricane special."
I'm a Disney Visa card holder and I didn't get any email. I'm losing interest in free dining because the dates won't fit my needs, but I'm still keeping my eye out until things are official.
all signs point to it being from 8/26 thru 9/22, but as long as you check in on 9/22, you can have it for the length of your stay, up to 14 nights max...
