The Official Free Dining Watch 2007 Thread

It was actually the end of March, 2006 that it was announced for Disney Visa cardholders. Keeping our fingers crossed here that it is announced again this year. If not, we're staying offsite in October instead of onsite in September.

We got a Chase Disney Visa a couple of months ago...is this the one you are talking about? How did they announce it to the Disney Visa cardholders? Thanks!

this leads me to believe that free dining will start on the 26th! last year little ones travel time also offered free dinding for parents traveling with preschoolers, the same time as the general free dining offer.

This is making me hopeful. I just wish they would move the dates by just a week. It would make things so much easier for us.

But, as the old saying goes, "Beggers can't be choosers." And, believe me I am definately begging.:goodvibes

I am soooo hoping for free dining. My DH said if they offer free dining we can go, but if they don't we can't. Please, please please offer free dining!!!!!!
I need my WDW fix NOW!!!!

That is why I do all the booking my DH always thinks it is free dining. He also thinks if you stay 3 nights the fourth is free. I like keeping him happy with no worries.:thumbsup2

I really do like your way of thinking. My husband doesn't want to go this year, but the children and I do, so we will see how I will be able to work this. Though he did say if the offer free dining he would be willing to go, but he wants to just hangout at the hotel and have some drinks while I go to the parks with the kids. We'll see how that will really work out, I think I will just have to leave him somewhere in the World Showcase and pick him up when we're ready to go home. :rotfl:

Scrapper-You & I must be twins separated at birth! Right now DH doesn't know we're staying at AKL...can't decide if I'm going to surprise him or tell him the story I made up....Not only is it going to be free dining for us, but there is no room at CSR, so they're moving us to AKL!! :rotfl:

If I book my trip now, do I ask for Disney Dining and then wait and see if free dining is available for Sept.? We are planning on going 9/21 thru 9/29. If I do book my trip and add dining, can I cancel the dining plan if free dining is not offered? This will be my first time even trying to use the DDP. Have been 4 times to Disney but never thought of using DDP and didn't even know they offered it for free. pirate:

My husband doesn't know I own a DVC timeshare! shhhhhhhhhh! :surfweb:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: A co-worker of mine used to "win" stuff. We'de have to call her house and pretend that we were awarding her prizes so her DH had no idea that she bought this stuff. He also thought her diamonds were costume jewellery.:lmao: :lmao:

OMG! That's classic! I always "get" presents from my mom! Is that a new shirt? Oh yeah, mom bought it for me? New purse?! Yeah, mom surprised me! Glad to know I'm not the only one!!

But the DVC! It's the best!!

Gosh, I hope I can't get points for corrupting housewives!!!:lmao:

True story..

It was a special edition Turkey hill ice cream bucket....I quit smoking and started putting all the money I would have spent for the cigarettes in the bucket....Then I started adding more and more...Not only did I add years to my life I get to spend them at Disney!!! :dance3:

Hi Everybody!
Just subscribing to join you all in watching for free dining. We have a trip scheduled for May, but if they do free dining again this year - we're going in August too. Won't cancel my May trip - might have to shorten it tho. Wouldn't ordinarily do 2 trips so close together but DGD is getting older now and can't miss school and I can only be gone 5 days at a time.

Besides, now - thanx to you guys on this thread - I know I can just tell my husband I "won" a free trip in August. :lmao:
