Arriving at Disney on February 1

Just hit our seven-month DVC booking window this weekend. We got our first choice -- Old Key West near the Hospitality House -- for the first three nights of our stay (2/22-2/25). We had already booked a villa at AKV Jambo House, our home resort, for 2/25 to 2/29 eleven months out. We love to do split stays. We try a different resort for the first half of our week each time, and we've never been to OKW before. We always finish at Jambo House because it feels like home. The kids are very excited to try OKW. So glad the rooms are now set and I can start looking at ADR possibilities.

Just booked my airfare!!! It's official! But changed to POP from FW. Feb 16-26!!! Now her's hoping that free dining comes out... (but that's a whole other thread LOL...)

Working on a trip for next summer with my girls and my sister and niece, but the thought of having to wait so long has me itching to try and book a trip in between which leads me to February.

DD1's bday is 2/2 so I'm thinking of taking her for a short weekend trip 2/3-2/5 and leaving baby home with daddy. Instead of a bday party, we can enjoy some birthday fun at Disney.

Still crunching numbers so if any one has any ideas for a super budget trip I would greatly appreciate it. Looking to stay at POP or maybe try one of the other values.

we just moved our trip to feb 4-12th. We are staying POFQ

We originally planned to go in sept, but we are moving in august so we decided to push out our trip a few months

Now I have to go back to the drawing board for meals

YAY, add me to the list, I will be taking three of my kids (the oldest) to WDW from Feb5-10 2012, we are driving down from PA and maybe stoping at a beach on the way to or from. We are staying at POP on the Dxddp....it's for my 8y/o's birthday that is on Feb 14th.

Just confirmed my dates Feb. 16-26 and changed my resort to POP!!!! Let the countdown begin!!!

Dining Options, can I get some input please?

1. Liberty Tree Tavern
2. Teppan Edo
3. 50's Primetime Cafe
4. Whispering Canyon Cafe
5. Crystal Palace (done before and LOVED it)
6. Le Cellier, Lunch (hoping the lunch menu is similar to the old dinner

I've only been to Teppan Edo and Primetime.

DH and I thought Teppan Edo was fine. I don't know that it ended up on our 'one of the best meals ever' list, but we also had nothing bad to say about it.

I've been to Primetime twice. The first time was with a bunch of friends from college and we LOVED it. So much fun. (Food was good, but was more about the experience). When I went with DH, the atmosphere was a little different. Maybe because we were just 2 adults, the waitress "mom" didn't put much into the act. So, it was nothing special. I was so disappointed. I don't think we'll be going back this trip.

I am planning my first trip to Florida for Feb 04 - Feb 12, which can change if I find a drastic airfare price cut. I will be bringing my daughter (age 22) as a college grad and first job congratulations trip. I am leaning towards staying at POFQ, but haven't booked it yet. Also, will spend 2 days off site at Universal (have to see HPW ). Other decisions to make: dining plan, dining reservations. But we will be there

We just booked our flights yesterday and the villa in Rolling Hills we are staying at. Can't wait to go back, Feb.5-12, 2012. Let's hope the weather cooperates (no snow storms on our travel days)!

so excited! booked our 1st trip to DW for Feb 21-27. We are staying at CBR.

then after I am booked I'm thinking WHAT was I thinking??? I'm finding all this info on how that week of the 20-25 is busy because lots of schools are out! I have a 3yo so I wasn't needing to book on a break. How busy will it really be??? So sad too because I can't book ADR til Aug 25 and I'm hoping that there will be stuff left that week since people showing up on Sat-Mon can book before me....argh!!!! Everything has to be perfect!!!

Sign me up!! Just booked one of the new royal guest rooms at POR. Feb 18-23. I'm so excited to try one of these rooms out.
Now gotta look for the park hours and decide what's for dinner!

The official Disney World calendar has been updated with February 2012 for all parks.

The good news is park hours are posted and what one would expected. The bad news is Fantasmic is indeed missing from the schedule until Monday, February 13.

In light of the free dining announcement.

We are changing our dates. Once I have my confiramtion from the TA I will let you know what they are.

So it will move my 180 day mark up. Which means in just a few days, I could start making my ADR's. That makes it so tangible...

We, too, are adjusting our plans based on free dining.

Dropped our AKL dates and are doing POP 2/12-2/18.

We will be arriving Feb 9th, which is not part of the free dining package just announced. Very strange set of dates -- I would have thought they would have included all dates before the big rush and none of the high season arrival dates, but instead it is some of each. But I can't change our arrival date.
