In the sky, an hour into our flight from Philly. Probably checking park hours and ADRs on my iPad incessantly while DBF tries to catch the last bit of sleep I will let him get for the week!

Probably getting ready for the last day here at home, last minute packing and cleaning. I made an appointment for my daughter to have her nails done. I asked the lady to paint Minnie mouse and Disney stuff for her, she'll be so excited!

I did out online check in, am sending out a package to have waiting for us at the desk (have to pay for checked luggage, UGH!), my kid's bags are 90% packed....I feel like I'm feeling pretty prepared! Having missed work Th and F because of the stomach bug helped though! Safe travels everyone! Oh and the extended forecast is already looking better!

One week from today I will be walking around Animal Kingdom! Right around this time we will be getting a bite to eat at Flame Tree BBQ!

So far there is quite a bit of rain in the forecast which I know can change on a dime. I don't mind if it rains, just hopefully not on our AK day (the 11th) since I hear it is the most difficult park to do on a rainy day due to it being almost exclusively outside! But, regardless, we will have a blast and make the most of any weather! I just hate wet feet...LOL!

I did online check-in yesterday since we will be arriving at CSR around 8:30-9am (plane lands at 6:55am). I am hoping with online check-in our chances will be better for having our room ready for us since they will know what time we will be arriving. We've planned that it will not be ready, but it would be great to be able to freshen up a bit after our overnight flight before heading over to AK. I think CSR is booked pretty solid though...a convention plus free dining promo...so I'm not counting on getting our room early!

I can't decide if we should do online check-in or not. Are there any benefits either way?

For me, the on-line checkin date is just another milestone -sort of like the day you can make ADRs is!!! My daughter will do her "on-line checkin dance". LOL On-line checkin just saves a step-they have your packet done already. Sometimes the line for those who did on-line checkin is longer than the regular line. We have done on-line checkin and not done it. In either case, our room has always been ready at POP even when arriving at like 11am. We are staying at POFQ for the first time and landing at MCO at 8:45. I hope the room is ready!

There are no real benefits as far as I know. I believe it makes your actual check-in process faster, but sometimes the lines are longer for those who checked in online and those who do walk ups. It seems to be random as to whose line is longer. I have heard most people prefer not to do online check-in for their 1st ever visit but this will be my 1st visit and I chose to do it early online. I can figure everything out on my own.
