All checked in for our flight tomorrow WOO HOO!!! Even got us into boarding group A! (Southwest)


Spending the morning at a staff meeting, then Superbowl Village, then in the afternoon, heading home to grab suitcases and DH. We'll grab kiddo at school, and skedaddle to the airport!

Have a great time Karen....lets hope we get 70s weather with no rain at all....every time we have been there it has been high 80s to high 90s.....by the way i see that you are from LI...from CT here!....it has been so mild here is the first time in a long time that we are not escaping the snow!!!

The weather has been ridiculously warm for this time of year! I'm okay with it though... love the warm weather, and it looks like a very slim chance of our flight getting delayed due to snow.. I've been worried about that for months-- hope I didn't just jinx it!! Crossing my fingers for beautiful weather while we're in FL too. Have a great trip!

Getting very close now - we leave on the 12th and will be staying at CSR. Packing mostly jeans with t-shirts with a few fleece disney jackets for morning/evening. Walmart had some cute women's t-shirts for sale - Eeyore, Mickey etc so I bought 1 yesterday to take. I'm a little nervous about the uptick in crowd predictions but I figure the last time I was there was in mid-June so the crowds can't be worse then they were then, and it will have to be better weather wise.

I did manage to get Valentine's day reservations at the California Grill in time to see the fireworks - blushing apologies to those who didn't, but I tried daily for weeks and caught a break a few months ago.

I can't wait, still so much packing and preparing to do. I'll be as nervous as Piglet until we actually leave. We've had so little snow here in DE this year that I'm a bit worried. If I've got to be stuck due to snow I want to get stuck down in Florida and not up here. Although if that happens we won't stay past our trip at Disney because of the prices for President's Day weekend, luckily my family owns a house in Florida I can drive to if we get stranded.

I can't even be mad about your reservations; only mad at myself because it didn't occur to me to check back!! It kind of worked out though; I showed DBF the menu at Narcoosee's and now that's the meal he's looking forward to the most! We are going to California Grill on our first night 2/11, so at least we get a chance to go.

Kind of funny that DBF was griping about all the ADRs I made ("why do we have to plan every meal?? Can't we just go wherever we feel like that day??") and now I'm sure he won't be upset about it at all. I went once in March with no ADRs at all, just walk ins. Never again!!

I am hoping for warm-ish weather as well. I don't mind evenings that require a hoodie or light jacket, but if it gets too cold we don't own gloves or hats or anything like that! We live in the tropics so we are not prepared for winter.

My biggest fear is that we'll have a snowstorm when we leave! On the way home it won't matter so much (wouldn't be the worst thing if we had to stay another day, right? ) My daughter is home sick today (stomach bug) so I took the day off and plan on starting on some packing. Hopefully since it's going around now we'll be good for the 12th! 10 more days, 10 more days!

This is my biggest worry too. I wouldn't be devastated to be stuck down in FL for longer, but don't really want it to happen. I'm just really hoping there is no snow that keeps me from leaving on the 11th as scheduled!

2 more days! I don't think I could be any more excited Its not my first time, I went 20 years ago, but I was very small and don't remember a whole lot and what I do remember is either closed for refurbishment or not there anymore. So it feels like the firs time. And its the first time staying onsite, first time for my hubby as well as 5 yo son. First time flying Southwest and first time flying out of MHT. Yay! Can't wait!

Now just trying to keep things organized so I don't forget anything. Boy, booking room-only vs package makes things a lot harder. I have to remember everything separately. Oh well...thats what lists are for
