Ok, i've been searching but I can't find a deffinative answer. What exactly will be open in Fantasyland. I know Pooh is open and toontown is closed. But that is about all i can figure out. help!

I think all of the actual attractions are open? Ariel's grotto is closed, but I think everything else is open

I am not typically a lucky person- like I dont win anything, ever and things seem to always go in the opposite direction of what I wish

With that said- My Mom is now coming to Disney with us for a few days. This is seriously my life's dream- to give her this opportunity and thank her for all that she has done for me- and now its happening! She will be there with us from 5-9th (we will be there 2-11) which still gives us a few alone days as a family

So of course I am freaking a bit- making ADRs so far in advance and knowing there is next to zero chance of getting them all over again at the times we want for 5 people instead of 4 for the days she will be with us. I call WDW and talk to the sweetest pixie dust sprinkling CM EVER. She modified my 5pm Ohana ADR to 5 people so mom can join us- I cant believe it.

Enough of my brag fest- crossing fingers that nothing happens to screw this all up- yikes!

Ok. Totally crying over this. Bringing your mom and it being a dream for you....... you're killing me. I am so happy for you!!! This is your year for pixie dust!!!! Have an awesome time. If I see a lady with a huge grin on her face I am going to guess it is you! Enjoy!!

Awww, Thank you Greenfairy! I am exctied to be there with her when she sees the castle for the first time since the early 80s! My kids don't know she is coming and will be super shocked when she knocks on the resort door on Saturday

I am trying to get a hold of my aunt to have her add my mom to the ressie so mom can take the ME from the airport, but Aunt hasn't called me back- probably sick of hearing from me. Its making me stress out of course.

My DS now has pink eye, and I have a horrible cold- its been a week filled with a household full of illness out of nowhere. We are rarely sick so this sinus infection/pink eye hopping around to each one of us is annoying. At least its this week, and not next.

I need to pack- like now- and I am not motivated in the slightest.

ugh I know! This morning we woke up and heard that a storm is on its way and predicted to hit somewhere between tuesday and thursday- UM, we leave Wedenesday- YIKES. We are flying out of Cleveland Hopkins

we hit a record high of +13.2degree C yesturday and now they are predicting 25cm of snow and -25degree C by the end of the weekend.
we are flying form Calgary to Toronto, Toronto to Orlando, i hope the snow does not delay us to much.

How much to leave for mousekeeping (2 adults, 1 4 year old) $3 a day, $4 a day or more$$$

also what years are best for pressed penny's i know there is some year that they changed how they make pennies.....


im a dork and still cant figure out these luggage tags...

also Dh has some ankle issues... might be in a boot for the trip.... for real... why me... were waiting on the mri results.... dh and i have been together since 1995 when we were 15. we have NeVEr been on vacation... no honey moon (he was deployed to iraq right after words) no nothing.....

they better give him some cortizone or something, im calling the dr on monday and begging him...

3 weeks and counting. I just hope we can get out of JFK in between snow storms. I'm okay if we get stuck in Florida for the return trip. We've had so much snow this year, knowing we have this trip in front of us has been great. Let's hope for great weather!!!

eek! cortizone was my friend when we went in 2005, I had knee issues, and a shot kept me going for 10 days! I hope the dr gives him one...

Wow, you definitely deserve this vacation!! Here's hoping the doc can fix your hubby up. Healthy thoughts for you & your family too, Alli!! Tyler Dean & I were supposed to go over to some friends tonight (his best friend, whose mom is my friend) but she emailed me and said he has a bad cough. I just can't risk it. Thanks to a really bad case of bronchitis years ago, if I even get a cold I develop a horrible cough that lasts a good month each time. No way do I want to spend my time at WDW hacking my head off. TD & I have been popping multi-vitamins, extra C, & extra D to ward off any germs, and I'm not going to expose myself to any unnecessarily.

Just checked the forecast again -- HURRAY!!! I knew those 80's were too weird for that time of the year, and it had to be overblown. Now the day we get there is a respectable 69, which I can totally handle.

Two weeks from right now, we'll be winging our way to Disney!!!!

The new luggage tags are nifty. However, I think they made them a bit more difficult. Same concept, harder to execute.


DH is finally getting excited. He is starting to ask questions about our intinerary (which had he been paying attention all along, he would know).
