After switching I feel better and am way excited to try a new resort! Of course we'd do deluxe if money were no object but as a middle class family in this economy we cannot justify that much $$$.

I am right there with you! We went twice in 2009 for their first and second trip this year we are going in September coming home and getting ready to go back in Nov/Dec then heading back in February. It will be a rush of Disney fun!!!

I am hoping they will always be able to look back and say we were so lucky our parents took us to disney a lot!!

WOW that is awesome! I wish we could go that much. DH and I are going in Oct 2011 minus the kids to celebrate our 30th's, but only for 3-4 days. I'm still excited to be able to go twice in one year

I think all of your restaurant choices look wonderful. I have never been to Mama Melrose. I have read lots of reviews, but I need to try it for myself sometime. I can't wait to see your reviews!

And congratulations on the upgrade to CBR. What a fun surprise for your kids. I need to go and look at the pirate themed rooms. That sounds like something we would love!!

I also want to know about the pirate cruise.

Anyway... I didn't see a single thing with your plan that struck me as "oh no, I wouldn't do THAT".. it was all "OOOOOHHHHHH... HOW FUN!!!"

Now, how will your kids react when you tell them that Christmas might be a little "less" this year? I don't have that option since mine is a surprise. I'm trying to figure out how I can try to make Christmas look like it usually does, but spend a lot, lot less! They'll appreciate it in the long run, but I don't want to let the cat out of the bag too early.

Anyway.... looks AWESOME!!!

I wasn't going to do Garden Grill but for some reason the menu looks appealing to me? Anyway, it was either going to be that or Coral Reef but that place has been getting some really bad reviews lately

The pirate rooms look awesome! I am so excited to use the fridge My Lily is a total tomboy and will get a kick out of it I think.

As for Christmas we will just have to get out to the black friday sales lol!

You just reminded me of that! Wow, I can make ADR's but I still don't have a package price. I am planning on not overplanning this time. But as you can tell by that sentence I have a problem. I'll hopefully just make reservations thru Poly IPO but I can't make a move until I have a price. If I can afford the week in Feb.,we'll book it. If the 4/3 happens this year we'll go Poly CL again. I made most of my ressies in Oct. last year and had no problems getting what we wanted at the times that we wanted, but that was perhaps because you could only book 90 days out not 180 and we just beat the change and were able to book a few days earlier because of IPO.
Should I be doing something to cover myself in case I don't do CL?

UGH, I wish they would just make things a little bit easier for planning purposes!

I haven't made my adr's yet and could have if the 190 thing i've been reading about is right??

I have been checking the most popular places on weekends and am still getting tons of availabilty...LeCeiller even. Depending on when you go matters of course. I'm going to call tomorrow which is my 180 day mark! Hopefully we get what we want!!!! GL!!!

Just booked out 2 nights onsite stay at the POLY 2/2-2/3 then we move to Hilton Grand vacations Parc Soliei..

Called in this a.m. and got our ADR's for Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys and Ohana.

Since our dining plan will only be 2 days I decided to keep the table service meals to a minimum but my heart wants to make more ADR'S!!
There are so many great places!

I did try to get in at Garden Grill on 2/3 for lunch and it was FULL already!

Hoping our then 3 yd old will sit at the table and wait in lines!! We are practicing now!

Still deciding on DDP or DxDP. We had the DxDP for the last trip, and ended up leaving meals behind. I suppose it will determine what deals are offered.

Keep trying for GG if you really want it, I'm sure availablity will open up by Feb! If not, it's Epcot and there are sooo many great choices there foodwise! It's funny you mention practicing with your child because that is what we did last year with DD#2. She had just turned two at the time of our trip and it really did help in the long run to "train" her

Skubygurl- Garden Grill is NOT open for lunch- only dinner! Thats why you couldnt get a lunch time reservation there!

i agree! and i mis-typed, its actually 14 months! eek! lol we bought into dvc tho this trip and know we'll be back lots. dh has decided 2012 is going to be a disney free year....can't say the kids will go for that one! lol

We are so excited to be planning our Feb 2011 trip to Disney. We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter for the second year in a row.

We are Arriving Feb 4th until Feb 12th.

Does anyone know if shows times/dates are out for the parades?? I know from last year that Fantasmic doesn't show every night.
