Has anyone seen a $199 Minivan special yet? We go to Orlando the last week of April every year and find this deal either through Alamo or Dollar. I don't seem to be finding anything good yet.

Thank you webworm, for the codes! I was getting ridiculous rates for President's week-- 800/900 dollars for a minivan, which we need for our son's w/c. With your Thrifty codes, I got a weekly minivan rental for 415 with all fees, and with your FlyerTalk Budget codes, I got an SUV for 297, fees included--I don't think they have minivans available. Thanks so much!

I read through this and through the January thread, head is spinning a bit from it. Are most people using the codes booking straight through the rental car company website or the Florida Car rental site?

That looks like a pretty pricey week right now. The best rate for a minivan looks like is with Thrifty using corporate code 1660221168. The total with taxes and free additional driver is $415.36. The code belongs to property management firm for building I work in but no ID is required. The link to website is below.

Originally we were traveling those dates and had reserved a minivan at an Enterprise offsite. DH was going to take a cab (I think it was like $10) to get the van and then pick me and my 2 boys up at the airport. I believe the rate at the time was $453.

I've since cancelled so I'm not sure what the rates are now.

If you look over on Flyertalk forums people report using it without any problems. I found reference to it over on Bidding for travel under Budget and 15% discount so I don't think you have any worries.

This is with using the Orlando Magic Card code (004m001010) that I got from MouseSavers.(Card can be printed out right from the Thrifty/MouseSavers site) The SUV seemed to be the BEST deal on the Thrifty site. Dollar has a mini van special right now for $44.99/day with code 2COM2 (this is from their website). It would bring it down to $314 plus taxes for you.

Are your dates 2/12 - 2/22? I would look at the rate without using any codes. For those dates I'm getting $380.16 for a Jeep Cherokee
