In-laws are off to Disney with the kids this AM. Why the rant? We called expecting to find them around Cincinnati and instead they are around Charelston WV! If you are going to take my kids at least have the decency to let me know when you change your travel route.

That sucks! At first I thought your rant was going to be that your in-laws were taking your kids to Disney - but you weren't going!

Beverly Peanut Butter, I got Busted!

DW went to get her haircut last night, I knew this. She called on her way home to tell me she was stopping for ice cream, hmmmmm, ice cream! I noticed the ice cream, not the haircut. I got the dreaded text message this morning,
"So. I take it you didn't like my haircut!" How could I be so beverly stupid?!?

I agree. An old magic trick. Get them watching one hand while you manipulate things with the other. I'm surprised she didn't bring home bacon as well and mention zombies on the road.

I just have to vent about something I saw on my last day of vacation. Violation of a man law.We were getting on bus for trip back to resort at end of our night it was around 11 pm park was open till 3am.Bus pulled up and filled quickly by time we get to the doors it was standing room only.So we let everyone that wanted to pass us,as we would wait for next bus so kids could sit.Next bus comes we get on first and we take up back row five seats six of us so I have youngest sit on my lap to save a seat.Well starts filling up and a family of four get on (mother father son daughter). what happens???? well there is only two seats left and the mother and father sat down and made the two kids stand.I could not believe what I was seeing.so after realizing that the father was not going to stand and let his kids sit,I asked my son to sit on older daughters lap and I gave up our seat to the young girl. After seeing me do this the father still did not get up and give his son the seat or at least have him sit on his lap.I have no problem with me being the first one on the bus and still standing as I dont think many of you would either,My problem is with the father that would make his child stand over him!!! He even said to the kid your younger you can stand( and he was only in his 40's).
I sure hope there was a medical problem in which I cant see or know about,cause if not this guy should be ashamed of himself.!!!!
After the ride they got off at the same resort we did my kid asked me dad why did you get up and let the girl sit instead of her dad standing.I answered with> because that what men should do,she then replied that dad was mean.

OK back to your regular program
