Sorry I have not been on a while, but my thoughts and prayers to all.

I do have a prayer request as my oldest brother, who has been sick for several months now, has a collapsed diaphragm, thus he is having a difficult time breathing. He has already gone several types of tests, and more are on the way this week, to determine the cause of it.

Hello DisDads: I need some more prayer requests, as this has been a horrible week. To start off, my MIL had a "heart" issue. She has undergone some tests, and they do bot think it was a heart attack, but there was definitely something not right. She goes back to the doctor's next week for an evaluation.

Then yesterday I found out that a church friend of ours had passed away. I guess if there is any good news about that is that he passed away doing what he loved, which was playing golf.

The 3rd thing that happened was that AI had received an email from my oldest brother stating he has been diagnosed with ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Please keep these folks and their families in your prayers. Thanks and take care.

Thanks for the prayers. I just saw my father and stepmom and said that he is not in good shape. The docs got him on some type of medicine so hopefully that will make him feel a little better, at least able to breathe a little easier. My family and I are heading down to Orlando on Wednesday and we will see him on Thursday.
