I just got December alert from WDW Prep School that the Christmas parade taping will be from November 10 to 13th.


So does this mean that the big tree at MK will be up by the first week of December?

I really hope so! I'm happy that the parade taping won't be held when we are there. My kids, on the other hand, were hoping to spot some teen disney stars. Oh well!

Just wondering if there are any travel agents reading this thread that might have insight into extended Dec hours or the TBD CP Narrators.... Saturday is FP day and I really wanted to try and firm things up as much as possible. thank you

So here's my sad saga regarding FP+ and tickets....

Our window opened Tuesday night for FP+ and guess what...oh yeah we still don't have tickets. We live on a military post and they are out of tickets. Possibly get some in middle of November
so I'm on the road this week and stop at 1, 2, 3 different kinds of military installations and you know what? They are ALL out of tickets as well. So here I am trying to "let it go" but this over hyper drive that WDW has installed in us is screaming I MUST MUST have these FP+ or my trip is ruined. I'm so done with the whole thing.

We are going and we may not have a damn FP by then and I'm not caring. I'm going to drink my happy butt around EPCOT, eat my special made cake and take my picture with Minnie and call it a successful trip.

How's that for a Merry Christmas, Happy Anniversary Mickey Mouse attitude

Not that you want to wait any longer but you can always stop in at Shades of Green to get your tickets when you actually arrive to WDW. :-/ We did this for our trip last year but had to get all FP at the parks...actually worked out okay but it was not Christmas time...Just a thought if nobody has tickets

Just paid off our 1 year wedding anniversary trip for 12/9-12/13 at WL!!
Dining reservations have been made, fastpasses are booked, now just waiting on the magic bands
Woohoo!!

Jumping into this thread a bit late - we have a very spontaneous trip booked December 14-17 at Saratoga Springs! First trip as DVC members, and first (and sadly last) time I'll see the Osborne Lights! I can't wait

Im still doing CP (never had before ) however I am disappointed with my options for the time that I'm there. Still think it will be an awesome experience and am looking forward to it , just wish I could switch some of the narrators around!! now if we could just get the updated park hours posted.....

I added another ticket day, just to see the Osborne lights. Some small splurges are worth it

Also, my friend is singing in the CP the week before I'm there, so bummed I'm going to miss her. Agree with above statement about the disappointment in hosts, will be skipping this year.

I don't know when you are going but all the hours (and extended hours) have been posted through the end of March.

December hours will likely be extended, based on the final 2014 operating schedule. Those updates are what OP is referring to.
