You know what's kind of a bummer? I can go to the Disney site and book a vacation pkg starting on 11/30/14 with dates that would extend past the Dec 2014 dates we are planning on going, but I can't book a pkg starting the 1st week of Dec.

I know it's just a matter of time til I can book. And I know it's a trivial thing. But come onnnnnn... It's right there... I can almost touch it. But the site won't let me.

I feel the same way... It is so frustrating

Looks like the booking agents read Disboards. I was messing around on the Disney World site and wouldn't you know it...

I must not be inside my 499 day window yet. It still tells me that no rooms are available anywhere I look.

Are you guys (in the US) able to book single nights? Our (UK) site is still only allowing 5 day bookings for next year. I'm looking to know what it would cost to take my daughter, who will be 7 to stay for a night at a Little Mermaid room at AoA any weekday night in the 1st 2 weeks of December. Hoping it will work in with our budget!

I just did a trial for you. For 12/3-12/4 it was $132.75 (US) for that night in a Little Mermaid room.

We will be in Disney December 1-6 at AKL Jambo using DVC points! We plan on staying in Orlando until the 12th. Would like 2-3 nights Universal on site, Seaworld 2 days and possibly Discovery Cove if weather is not too cold. Any suggestions for us? It will be my husband, 8 yo granddaughter and myself.
This will be her first visit our third.

We are booked 11/29-12/6 ! It will be myself, DH, MIL FIL, SIL,BIL, 2 nieces & nephew as of right now. My husband & I have had many trips but it's always been just the 2 of us. I will be turning 40 next year & I just can't wait to ride Dumbo with my nieces!

Only 7 more days til we can make our reservations! getting more excited and I know once the resi is made it will feel so much more real! Kinda sad that my DS 18 will be in his 2nd year of college and has already expressed that he wants to stay home(work and get the $ we also pay out for the dog/pet sitter). I will book with him not included, but I will also put the $ aside for park passes for him(just in case)....cant wait

Reading through the threads it seems like some people can book for December 2014 and others cannot. I assume there is a waiting period. I am looking to go the 21st through the 27th. Has anyone been able to reserve for that time frame? Also, is there a deposit required or do you have to pay the full amount? Thanks Guys.

looking for close to the same dates. we are planning 20 or 21 through the 26, after looking and talking to TA and Disney both, I was told I need to be in the 499 day out window(that will bring me to next week 8/8) I plan to go on and check it out and then I will decide if I use Middle of the Magic(TA) or Disney to book.

as for paying, you will have to put down a $200 deposit and then must have it payed off 45 days before you arrive. Note that if you need 2 rooms, some will say that you need a $400 deposit, but you only need the $200. oce you call and make the reservation I think it is something like 7 days to make the deposit.... you then can make payments on it and if you find a discount at any point up to the 45 day out, call and they will apply it to you reservations. we got lucky last trip (Dec '12)and changed our dates by 1 day and were able to cash in on free dining!

We were going to rent points but with FREE dining I think we are going to stay at Music. The last 5 years there has been FREE dining during the time we are going and with it being a better savings we are going to skip the Deluxe resort.

There is no free dining for 2014 yet but if you look at the history of free dining Disney usually offers it the first few weeks of December.

Usually it is 499 days out but today is the 499th day for me and I still not book. I will be trying everyday, multiple times a day, until I can

I finally was able to look at pricing for our Christmas Disney vacation. Now all I have to do is buy my Disney GC and contact my TA to book. I was going to rent points but with free dining (which according to trends will match my dates) I will save more with free dining. So excited, 492 days!
