The OFFICIAL December 2014 - Christmas Magic

Today was an emotional planning day. I was running the idea of the MVMCP past my dad, expecting him to talk me out of it but I also said that it was a bucket list item I have wanted to do for years and asked him what he though.

Well....
he bought me the tickets as a birthday present. I cried. Actually I cried a lot. Disney and Christmas are my favorite things in the world and I can not WAIT.

For anyone who has been, what would you say are "must do's" of the party? I don't want to miss anything but I want to prioritize!

It has been 8 hours and I am still shaking with excitement.

Woo Hoo! What a sweet Dad! DH and I have been to DW in early January and seen some of the Christmas decorations, but have never actually been during the Christmas season. I did see the last night of the Osbourne lights last year, but he has not seen them yet. That is what prompted this trip. We are going to go to the Candlelight processional on December 8 and to MVMCP on December 9. I am very excited to do all of the Christmas things. I also am really excite d to go to some of the resorts to see their Christmas decorations!

I LOVE the Candlelight Processional. The only reason we didn't schedule an Epcot day to do it this time is because I was in it with my chorus 4 years in a row and we weren't totally sold with who the speakers was going to be the night we would have been able to go.

That being said I think it is one of the most beautiful shows Disney puts on.

17 days until we leave and 15 1/2 until we tell the kids.

It is so close now it almost doesn't feel real until we tell the kiddos.

7 more days! And I know Florida weather forecasts are pretty useless but so far it's looking warm & sunny. I hope I don't jinx it. I'm so excited! :)

We leave for Orlando tomorrow night!
We are doing some shopping and Universal first, but we start our Disney vacation with MVMCP on Sunday!
Can't wait! I haven't been to WDW since I was 15 years old (I'm 25 now) and my boyfriend has never been there. We did go to Disneyland Paris a few years ago, when we were doing our semesters abroad.

I just scheduled a last-minute trip for me and my DS 23mo - had to squeeze in one last visit before he turns two and I have to pay for his airplane seat! We're going 12/17-19: Candlelight Processional dinner package at Garden Grill on the 17th and MK/MVMCP on the 18th to see my sister in the Celebrate the Season show. I'm so excited, I've been trying to get WDW at Christmastime for years! Cannot wait! :santa:
