Over the counter medicine is eligible under medical flexible accounts.. You just send in your receipts and they will reimburse you..

I just get a claim form from my flexible spending company and mail in my receipts.. I dont send them for just a few dollars.. but I try to send them in every couple of months.. with a few dr visits and rx copays and over the counter medicine receipts I have over $150 already.. Im about to send them in..

I set money aside each year as its tax free money and was thrilled when either last year or the year before they announced that over the counter medicine is eligible..

Is this true? I did not know this and the last 2 times I picked up my prescriptions I didn't use my card :(

Lesson learned - thanks!

Check with your CVS but I know there was something on the website and the 2 CVS stores around my home even have something about the $10 on their marquee signs.. I went to CVS today to buy a few things and there is even a note on the receipt where it says how much you spent for the year and the savings and also says how many rx's you have filled..

Off to CVS today. I will inquire. Thanks!

ECB's have a card # on them so you have to have the card that goes with the ECB's - no interchanging them with different cards. If you look at the ECB it will say *********4105 - the last 4 numbers on that particular card so yes, she will have to give you a card as well - when you get the cards it comes with 2 keytags & 1 big card so maybe she has an extra she could give you and still keep her own.

Thanks for the info IAHD. I have a small tag for her Acme card already so I told her I needed one of her CVS ones too. We do what we have to to save a few bucks right!

I have finally seen the glory of CVS!!! Purchased $30 worth of stuff today including extra stuff that wasn't on my list since DS was with me (always a budget breaker). Well, after ECBs and coupons, we had to come up with another $2 at the last minute!!!

DS thought it was great that I got 3 bags of stuff for 4 cents!!

Yay!!!!!!!!

FYI-there's a $3 off of $15 coupon in the new Good Houskeeping.

Just went to CVS today after my big trip on Tues. Got $11 in ECB! These are divided into three coupons. Am I only going to be able to use one at a time. That will be very tedious. What has been your experiences with them letting you use multiple ECB coupons at once?
Thanks

bumping up for this next week....

I'm sure the OP will update the top post with the new deals but here's what I've figured on the 'bayer' deal: must be done all in the same transaction

buy 3 items 'below' and get $10 ECBs....

Contour monitor $30 - $30 cpn in today's paper = $0

Bayer $3.99 - $1/1 manf - $1/1 CVS(heart booklet) = $1.99

One-A-Day Weight Smart Advanced $6.99 - $3/1 cpn in today's paper - $2/1 CVS(heart booklet) = $1.99

total OOP $3.98 and get $10 back

Revlon deal:

buy any 4 Revlon items and get $10 in ECBs (has to be done in same transaction)

buy 4 Revlon emery board 10pk for under $2 each

Excedrin:

$1.99 - $1/1 Excedrin coupon (check boxes...some have a $1/1 peelie!) = .99 and get $1 ECB back

Spend $15 on Playtex items and get $5 ECBs

Playtex sport $4.99 - $2.50 x 3 = 7.50 and get $5 ECB back....possibly CRT cpns out for this too....includes gentle glide and baby care items

it is completely ymmv when it comes to using more than 1. I've had the computers at one store reject it this week but another store's computer had no problems at all with it. All the managers in my area are fine with using as many as you want as long as the system will take it. Sometimes even when they are overriding things the computer will still tell them no way. LOL

$5 ECB wyb Schick Quattro disposable razors LIMIT 1

This razor is 7.99 in our ad, and there's a coupon in the Sunday paper for $3 off as well. Yay for freebies!

When do the ECB's for the quarter that just ended print?

I believe the quarter ends March 31 and they should print April 1.

Ok I just went and got my ECB yesterday, hoping to get some great deals like all of you! Here is what I got:
alavert 6.99 - 6.00 coupon=.99
alavert 6.99- 6.00 coupon=.99 getting 5.00 ECB
Listern 2.99 getting 2.99 ECB
Colgate 2.99 gettting 2.99 ECB
If I am thinking right I spent 8.14 OFP and will get 10.98 in ECB back is this right. The sales lady said to get the ECB I have to buy something like a pack of gum? So the coupons come seperate? like 5.00, 2.99, 2.99 I can use only 1 at a time? She also told me that on Sat. between 7-9pm you can both weeks special because the over lap for those 2 hours. Do I have to use the coupons in so many days? Would love any input! Thanks.

When its time for your ECB to print out, you can either go to the store and buy a pack of gum (with a coupon of course!!) and then the ECB will print out. Or you can go to the CVS.com website and print them out from there BEFORE you go.

They will come out as separate coupons. The only exception is if there was an offer where you can do multiples AND you bought them on the same day. For example, with the monthly Pantene deal, I bought 8 pantenes at once and so my ECB printed out as $8 ($2 for each 2 I purchased).

Whether you have to use the ECB one at a time or use them all on one transaction is UP TO THE STORE. Mine only lets one per transaction. Other stores let you use as many as you want. (provided you don't go over the 1 CVS coupon per item.)

There is an expiration date on the ECB. I don't know exactly how many days they are good for, but somewhere in the vicinity of 21 days.

You can get the sale prices for both weeks on Sat. BUT you WILL NOT get any ECB from the following weeks deals if you buy them on Sat.

well...
1) you cannot earn ECB on sat for the deals starting on sun..but in many stores you can get Sundays prices on sat because of the managers updating their store systems early (several stores here you get sun prices all day sat and others not at all until sun)

2) you have 30days to use the ECBs that will print. the exp date will be on them ~they can be reset but in the beginning it is just easier to use them

3) if you have one of the new price scanners/printers in your store you don't have to buy anything, just scan your card at the price scanner and it will let you print your coupons from there, if not just ask them to do a price check with scanning your card and then when they hit void it will print out your coupons. Or just print them from home at the CVS website...but be aware that many stores give hassles about those even though they should know they are legit.

Anyone have the formula for these coupons printing? This is my second visit in 3 days and my third coupon printing. I'm not spending a ton either - $22 one trip, $10 this one!

Hey, ain't complaining but was just wondering if I can expect this type of thing on a regular basis! :hippie:
