Don't give up hope yet Kimberle. I'm not sure when they went on sale, but they still had tickets for the Providence Performing Arts Center performance on 12/3 available when I looked earlier today. That one is actually a lot closer to me but we will be in WDW then. This tells me that they didn't sell out imediately though. Maybe the Oakdale tickets will still be available after ballet class. I hope so .

Can you ask someone else to order the tickets for you? Or get someone else to give her a ride to ballet class?

all - it's been a while since I've been on here.

Fingers crossed for me - I'm going to try for tickets to the Baltimore show this Friday...I'm going to be in WDW when he's here, and then I'll be home when he's in Orlando. Rotten timing, as usual.

I did convince a friend or two to take a ride with me to Baltimore - it's about a 3-hour drive. I'm ready!

OMG - we just got a message from the Manilow fan club that Barry will be a guest on Clay's Christmas special! According to them, it's being taped "next Monday"

Anyone have any more information????

I had tickets, but gave them up because they came up in the 2nd level of tickets. They were "sold out" by 10:02!!! Arggghhhh

it's being released nov 16th!! also being released the same day will be his book and the audio version of the book. the audio version was recorded by none other than mr aiken himself!

YEAH!!! I just got 4th row balcony seats for the Dec 23rd Detroit show!!! It is a 4 1/2 drive from here, but hey he will be worth it!! It is a surprise for my mom! He is apparently doing Christmas songs with the Detroit Symphony! I am SO excited!

Kim, were you able to arrange something for tickets? I hope to be able to get lucky at the box office tomorrow, but they're doing a bracelet lottery. I can't make any promises, but do you want me to try to snag a pair for you?

I just now saw your post. Thanks so much for the offer. Congrat's on your great seats! By the time I was able to log on, only "potentially limited view" seats were coming up. I've never been to Oakdale, so I have no idea how blocked they were.

Oh well, with this kind of sales, we know our boy Clay will be back!

Just wanted to share that I managed to snag some tickets for Dec. 10th as well ! Of course now I'm jealous of Kylene 'cause I'll be in the front balcony and she'll be in the front row . How did you manage that anyway, Kylene ?

I'm thrilled that my first ever concert is gonna be Clay and I can't wait to get the album either!

I'm so sorry, Kim - hopefully you can find something as it gets closer to the show (either in CT or NYC). Lots of times they hold over tickets.

I was going to get an extra pair on Saturday in case you couldn't get them, but we were only allowed to buy four and my mom and sister decided they wanted to go with us. I wish I could've helped you....

Val, my story of tickets is a somewhat complicated one, but the short, technical version:

My sister and I went to get in line at the crack of dawn, and my other sister, mom, two friends, and cousin/godfather straggled in between 7:30 and 8:45. They gave out bracelets between 8:00 and 9:30 and picked one number at 9:30, and we all had to line up after that person. Everyone in my group was spread out with like 20 people between them so that I'd have a chance at decent tickets no matter what number was called. My cousin was number 107.

And the number that was picked??

107

So he was first in line to get tickets when they went on sale.


But wanna know what I think REALLY happened??


I think my Gram pulled some strings up there in Heaven.

BUT, regardless - CONGRATULATIONS on YOUR seats too!! I haven't been in the balcony at Oakdale, but people in line were saying that the front balcony is actually a better view than a lot of the orchestra seats.

I can't wait to see him!!

(And for the new cd...I hate the wait!!)

over on another message board, they are posting images from the new christmas cd!!! talk about THUD...

the track listing on the CD is different than what they put on amazon.com. he's included don't save it all for christmas day!!! that was the one song that most fans were wondering why it didn't make it onto the list...but come to find out, it is on there!! woo hoo!!!

I though his Dec 8th special was going to be on NBC, you have ABC. Is it ABC?

His picture is dreamy....... ahhhaa...........

Can't wait till his CD comes out! It's selling so well on Amazon. (Rub's, Fantasia's, and Kelly's are still pretty low, though I do think Kelly came up to just under 200 last time I looked.)
