For all you fans, our local NBC station has posted an interview they had with Clay. You have to register to see it, but I thought you might be interested http://www.wcnc.com/ . The interviewer, Colleen Odegaard had her baby last Tuesday, so this was obviously taped at least a few days ago.

good morning....I haven't checked in here in awhile.

I didn't try to buy tickets for the Worcester concert cuz I know someone who knows a radio DJ.....he gets free tickets to concerts all the time so I'm waiting to find out if he gets a couple. Of course if this person fails I won't be going ....oh well....it was a gamble and I've got my fingers crossed

I can't recall whether it was Paula or Randy that chose Clay as their "wildcard" pick last season? It must be one of those approaching "senior moments". Can someone help me recall. . . ?

Clay was America's pick.

Simon picked Carmen.

Randy picked blond Kim (I think)

Paula picked Teyrnece (sp?)

I had forgotton how that fourth person made the cut!

Jeez Louise, I must have taken a trip to Tahiti or something on that one! I've been pondering the math on that for a day--it didn't add up-- 4 sets of 8, two chosen from each set + 3 wild cards and I couldn't figure out how the 4th was chosen! How quickly a person forgets!

2-13-04 :: Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson are scheduled to perform LIVE on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" this Monday, February 16th at Hollywood and Highland at Noon PST. Taping takes place at Hollywood and Highland complex at 6801 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028. There is a underground parking structure.

Tickets will be released on a first come, first served basis. Arriving early is strongly recomended. Producer reserves the right to refuse admittance. The fans are welcome to make signs for Clay and Kelly


March 3rd Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson will be on The Today Show (NBC) both will be performing

i've also heard that clay will be on TRL on march 3...most likely to debut his new video "the way"...let the voting begin!!!

Both Clay and Kelly had nice performances and interviews, too. Guess they are off and running on their tour now. I liked how they addressed the whole "Idol" thing during the Clay interview. Clay indicated that Ruben was going on his own tour. I haven't seen anything about that one, but then again--I don't follow his career post-Idol.

I also enjoyed Clay's take on this year's contestants on AI. Did you hear him say that he would be surprised if anyone in the 2nd group made it very far--they weren't as talented as group 1. Sounds as if Clay was impressed with Fantasia.

Supposedly rubens tour is for small venues. alot of colleges are handing out tickets. I guess he prefers the smaller, club type venue.

Clay seems to get a lot of "air time" but on the charts is seems Reben is doing better.

Disneychrista, last time I heard, Clay was beating Ruben both in sales and in visibility.

Which, while I like Ruben and all, is perrrrrfectly okay with me.

he was adorable on ryan seacrest yesterday! although, i need to go back and watch it again...our puppy, adorable as she is, was quiet as a mouse when kelly was on tv or during commercials, but the moment clay came out...she was barking like mad! i think her daddy taught her that...

I saw Clay & Kelly on Ryan's show last night!!

I actually **remembered** to turn it on & was home!!

Boy, what a good show. Kelly, boy that girl can TALK!!! I LMAO when she almost climbed" on top of Ryan!!!

Clay sang "My Way" and sounded terrific!!!!

Somebody asked about Clays/Rub's CD sales. I too, would love to know. On billboards charts Rub's still only marked with 1 platimum sale while Clay's was 2 right out of the door. I think if you pay to subscribe to Billboards charts (vs. getting the free teasers), yo get the actual number sold.
