I just bought the new TV Guide with Clay on the cover. Great picture on the cover! It says in the magazine there will be an American Idol Christmas special on Tuesday, 11/25 at 8PM on Fox.

I have to admit, I really don't get the whole Clay thing. I agree he has a good voice, but then, so do many, many entertainers.....but his physical presence just FREAKS ME OUT. I literally have to change the channel because he gives me the willies. The only other celeb that does that to me is Maria Shriver (good thing I don't live in CA, I guess.) I have no idea what it is about him that does that to me. (but I'm glad to see all his fans so happy!)

you know...he doesn't do it for everyone! and that's perfectly ok...i like him cuz he looks "normal". he looks like the guy i'd expect to live next door to me...and he's an all around good guy. that's what makes him attractive to me!

Yeah, first it was "the VOICE", then I noticed his look and mannerisms reminded me of ANOTHER huge crush I've had on a dorky singer for YEARS. (Wonder who that is?) Then I started reading about him and listening to interviews - his sense of humor and the way he carries himself had me HOOKED.

And now here I am, joining the millions of swooning followers.

As someone from Clay's hometown of Raleigh - I have to say we are all quite excited for him -- for the past 9 months raleigh has been plastered with his face -- and I personally am in love

This weekend he will be in the local Christmas parade! I am so excited!!!

It is funny in Raleigh -- if you ask someone - they will give you there connection to Clay! Its like 7 degrees to Kevin Bacon -- for example I have several, one of his best friend was one of my friends in high school, His cousin is my hair-dresser, his 3rd cousin's college roomates 7th grade teachers son is my mom's tax guy.... well the last one isnt true -- but I have heard worse!

We love Clay!

my hubby's trying to remember when he married a teenaged groupie! i have never really obsessed over any celebrity before...but for some bizarre reason, i've been sucked into ClayLand...lol

and trust me I have been hunting myself -- if he is in town - I am around! Fortunatly I have a father and brother who work at the airport -- they always tell me when he is flying in and stuff! Its great!

he's actually going to be here for ome christmas concert next month...but i can't go. no one around here to go with me! and i certainly can't take my husband with me to a CLAY concert! plus hubby's christmas party is on that night...guess i'll have to wait til he tours next year. and i win the tv guide contest.
