The Official Bachelor Thread ~ Deanna comes back!

I love Jimmy Kimmel. He gave it to him pretty good.

I was not unhappy with Jason for picking Molly over Melissa. I just thought it was extremely poor taste and mean to do it on national tv. I do believe Jason when he said he had to. I blame the show for doing that to Melissa.

I also believed him when he said Melissa knew before hand. You could clearly see she was pissed when she came out on stage. I'm sure at Jason and the show.

I also think he was not seeing Molly before that. She looked so stunned and shocked when he was talking to her about everything. If it was an act she should be an actress because it was a great performance.

Blech. I thought this guy was the biggest jerk. I thought he seemed fakier than ever last night. I don't think there is any excuse for how he acted and if I was Molly I would not have taken him back. And I hope Melissa is smart and never talks to him again. He is one of those annoying guys that thinks he is so sweet and that he is friends with everyone, yuck and theat he was "following his heart," when really he has no idea what he wants in life.

If he was not a jerk, he would not have proposed to Melissa. If he was still so confused like he was "claiming" last night he should have just chosen her and said something nice like I can't wait to see where this goes or something like that. I mean he had Ty to think about.... Then he went on to dump her on TV!?! He could have easily let her down prior to the show and said that things just didn't work out etc. If he wasn't sure and wanted to be with Molly etc, there are a lot of better ways he could have gone about it!

See, I wanted some examples...He kept saying, things were different after the show when they were together in real life. He said their conversations were different etc...
I wanted examples, what exactly was different????I mean understand people are not always as they seem, I think we all get that...but happened once the show was over? How did she become so different?

Everything about this show, and this situation is not "REAL"...I dont expect them to make it for the long haul.Whats to say down the line, he did realize Melissa was the one for him, or even for that Matter Deanna after she came to see him in NZ?:confused3

This is a joke!! I really think this will be my last Bachelor/Bachelorette season!!

this is what I kept thinking the entire show.

A few of my thoughts before I go back and catch up with everybody:

Melissa was right, Jason is a *******

and Molly should have said no way, Jose!! but since she didn't...they deserve each other.

Chris Harrison is as big a horse's hiney....as are the producers....why torment poor Melissa by breaking up with her on camera with no forewarning??

And when did it become an imperative that the bachelor proposed to whoever he picked in the end?

I think so many people are et up (LOL, my grammar) with how they look on TV that they would do anything for their 5 mins. of fame. That's what's really sad.

I think this is the first time I've ever agreed with everything you've said!:thumbsup2

I LOVE IT!!! My best friend would have much more in common with you than I do!!! And she IS my BFF. We've been best friends since 7th grade, some 42 years ago. SO glad we've found a basis for conversation Teresa!!! :happytv: TV is wonderful.

I think if they had to do this on television, it should have been two separate shows. It was just incredibly tacky to have Melissa and Molly come out back to back like that. Can you imagine how seeing that would have felt?

"I'm so sorry for what I'm doing to you. :sad2: :sad2: "

5 minutes later

"Molly, you're so gorgeous. Those eyes have me. :flower3: :cloud9: "

Yeah, he really felt bad. Bologna.

Jimmy Kimmel was HILARIOUS!! :rotfl2: Jason is really trying to spin this nightmare, Jimmy hit the nail on the head with the slap comment!!

Real life... yeah RIGHT!!:happytv:

Or at least make him work for it a little bit!

she probably did - she probably knew all along -

There is no way she jumped on him that quickly without having contact with him - and I dont mean in just texts and phone calls - I fully believe they got together before this "dramatic" After the Rose -

and why was Jason sweating so much???

Maybe it will be announced that they have broken up and Jason wants to try with one of the other girls.
He's got 23 other girls to choose from. :thumbsup2
It's HISTORIC!
I LMAO when Chris Harrison said that. Surely, it will make the American History textbooks.
Everyone, bring your own barf bags!

BYOBB! :thumbsup2
Umm, you really believe he didn't see Molly while he was engaged to Melissa? Jason is way too insecure to have dumped Melissa on tv if he didn't already have another "love" to fill in.
I agree. I don't think Jason ever would have gone on last night's ATR show NOT knowing whether or not Molly would take him back.
I don't know if it was scripted. I do think that Melissa knew what was coming. I wonder if she had to put herself out there because she was under contract to do the ATR Show. She looked like she was coming out to her own execution.

As for Molly ... I think that "the look" as she was leaving the rose ceremony was her seeing the cameras as intrusive and not playing up to them like she had all season. Cameras were supposed to catch her happiness and not her humiliation.
This, I agree with.
2. Melissa- while she did endure a most "amazing" atrocity (sp?) on the Bachelor... she came off as a snippy biotch. Her face and eyes were different-cold, very cold. She did seem like a completely different person .. than the girl we viewed in the past. I am wondering which personality is the real Melissa

4 Chris Harrison- Poor old Chris, I swear he had the make-up people put extra light pancake on him to hide his embarrassed blush! He seemed very ill at ease with the entire production.
During the season, she was falling in love. At the ATR show, she was getting dumped. Why are her reactions like having two different personalities???

I think Chris Harrison is VERY comfortable with this type of situation. It's what he DOES...he's a drama queen.
EVERYONE'S dignity (including Chris Harrison's) was totally compromised.
Has Chris Harrison ever had "dignity" with regard to this show? I mean seriously...every time he makes a statement before an ad during the season, like his gleeful sing-songy "Coming up next...all the girls hate (fill in name)!", I think "What an idiot!"

Chris Harrison is as big a horse's hiney....as are the producers
I've always thought that. I remember last week people were gushing about how cute Chris was but I just kept on thinking about what a smarmy weasel he is. Now, I know that the producers come up with all the twists and turns, but Chris is the face of the producers and the one who breaks the news to the viewers. ETA: As MaryAnnDVC says above ... He does it "gleefully".

Oh...Elizabeth's bit on The View was hilarious.

Thursday and Friday are the days when the 3 of them will be on Ellen. Per Ellen's website, Thursday is for the "runner-up", and Friday is for "the couple".

I had no idea this thread was here, I've been following a different one! Anyway, I'll just post here what I posted over there -

The whole thing was fake! NONE of it was sincere, from Jason's excessive crying, to his looking in the camera, to DeAnna's "surprise" visit to New Zealand, to Molly going on and on and on about what she would do if Jason took her back. It was all a set-up. Jason said it wasn't but there's no way ABC would let it get out that it was. It was all just too over-the-top. 99% of the Bachelor romances ended and it was always behind the scenes - why would Jason call ABC to set up a public dumping of Melissa?!! For the ratings, and with all the buzz about the big twist the show got the biggest ratings ever last night.

I liked Melissa, I thought she was cute. I don't blame her "coldness" last night - she was about to be dumped by her fiance of 6-weeks on national TV! The whole thing was COMPLETELY unnecessary, especially since she isn't even next season's Bachelorette. There was no reason to put her through that... unless she was in on it too.

The whole show was ridiculous. Jason's divorced, fell head-over-heels in love with three different women within an 8-month span, proposed to two of them, and the got sick of his "fiance" after 6 weeks. Molly should run for the hills, especially after blatantly being no more than sloppy seconds. What a waste of time!

I thought Elizabeth's bit was ridiculous - over the top - she was the one that asked Jason - hammered him about the internet rumors - so then she has the elaborate party with THE VIEW's people?

it was just as scripted! ABC :sad2:

Also about Ellen's show - she put it out there she wants an audience of Bachelor viewers!!

So? :confused3

Just watching Jimmy Kimmel (thanks for the link!! :thumbsup2), and it reminded me...every time I hear Jason say "her and I" instead of "she and I", I think my head is going to explode.

:lmao: CLASSIC!!! Again, Em, you're right on! :thumbsup2

Reality Steve's points bring this to "reality"... everyone knew what was going on and it was a POORLY acted crapola for ratings only. And ya know what? It WORKED!! Reeled me in like a stupid guppy! :lmao:
