Safe travels, and have a magical time!Leaving this afternoon. Kids are still asleep. Just a few last minute things to do, but bags are packed, DME tags on.
Not yet, but I will. Still trying to figure out my dates.Has anyone’s here booked the bounceback FD? We usually don’t because we have DVC and AP’s. But we are out of DVC points and sitting out our usual spring trip to wait for crowds to calm down- so FD would work this time since we can just pay to upgrade the required hoppers to AP’s when we get there in September . Now my sister and mom want to go too, so I was going to book 3 rooms at a moderate. Just wondered what availability looks like.
5 days left... wondering what is the craziest thing other people drag with them? I pack my espresso machine. Yes it takes up space and pounds in my suitcase but waiting in line at Starbucks takes precious time away from Disney fun!

Our trip is 2 weeks from today!!! So happy for this thread. Everyone is so positive compared to some of the other threads, and I know we all get each other when it comes to Disney!
We leave Sunday! I’m really interested in what the crowds will be like Aug 12-14this is my first time in August but I’ve been in September and by the looks of what everyone is saying the weather won’t be too different either! I’m trying to figure out something special for my boyfriend and I to do during the trip that’s not too expensive, we are both 21 so I’m open to the idea of cool bars. Staying at the swan if that helps
safe traveling everyone!

Anyone have which waterproof pouch they bought off amazon? I'm thinking of bringing an old Iphone 6 just to take to the water park one day for pics.
Since everyone is going to Disney soon, the parks should be empty by the time the "end of the month" people, like us, get there.
Three weeks from today will be my last day in the office before I retire.![]()
I have a small electric fan that I'm bringing for the noise for sleeping.5 days left... wondering what is the craziest thing other people drag with them? I pack my espresso machine. There are some nice evening activities on the Boardwalk. They have a juggler and magician and I don't remember what else. I think there is a new bar right there, too, between Flying Fish and Trattoria. You can just walk over there from the Swan.
The nicest resort lounge is Geyser Point at the Wilderness Lodge. It is open air and located on Bay Lake. You can see the electric Water pageant and the fireworks from MK from there. They also pipe in the fireworks music there.
Disney Springs has many nice bars and restaurants, too.
