Just booked club level Poly garden view for myself, DW, and DD for August 21-26!! Room plus park hoppers for $2,800 through a magical deal!

Can't wait! This will be our baby girl's first trip, and she will be ~12 months at the time!

I'll be spending another Disney during my bday week with my best friend who is a Disney lover but has never been. Can't wait to see her reaction! Going August 20-27, with 5 day tickets at Disney (gonna do two days at MK) and one day at Universal Orlando. Staying at All Star Movies. Hotel & Tickets (Universal & Disney) came up to about $1,845 altogether. Thank goodness for that Christmas bonus haha!

How was your New Year?

We have not been home for the holidays in 18 years due to the military. So, this was a real treat for all of us. We spent NYE at my sil house. We laughed and ate to much good FOOD. It is nice to see the cousins play together.

I work at a small Dr's office and he took the last 2 weeks off to go see his kids and grandkids, I feel like I have been on a staycation myself. Back to work I go on Monday. I am sad, it seemed to go by really fast.

I'm doing this too. Trying to figure out our OOP meals for first 8 nights and saving the most expensive meals for our 7 nights of free dining. Haven't done Trails End yet and it looks like good OOP value; decent reviews too. Most of the other ADR's will be ones we've been to before - we are creatures of habit I know that I want all 3 meals at BOG - we loved breakfast, lunch and dinner February 20th is our booking day for ADR's

I forget. Did you buy ten day tickets? I'm trying to figure out how we're going to work this. Are you going to get your package tickets early? I feel like we talked about this, but I'm not sure.

I *think* we've discussed it too, but can't remember the details We bought 9 days tickets (but will likely make it 10). We arrive at Contemporary on 18th, then BC on 22nd, then free dining at PORS on 26th. We are going to activate our tickets (from August 26th reservations) on 19th, then they will be good until September 1st (our last park day, 14 days after tickets have been activated) and we leave on September 2nd. REALLY hoping they can be activated that early (I have a confirmation saying it can be done, but it still worries me ).

Do you know if I can book all of my dining on 18th (for 180 +10 days out)? Or do I have to book my 180 days out at the start of each reservation (18th, 22nd, 26th)? It is all so confusing. Probably shouldn't do a triple stay, but my kids are teens so they are pretty independent and we all wanted to try a new resort without giving up the Beach Club

I think I will also upgrade to 10 day tickets and activate them on the 18th or 19th. When I do this, I may try to switch to preferred at POR rather then the Gardenview we have now. I do remember that you have preferred book and those rooms seem appealing to me. I don't know why I cheaped out at the last minute and booked Gardenview. I'm really not a fan of the Mansions....oh well, just thinking out loud.

Okay, so you *should* be able to book your 180 +10 from your first reservation. But I have been unable to do this online for the past three trips now and nobody knows why, but I can do it when I phone. It drives me crazy! Hopefully, you'll (and maybe even me) be able to do this online.

Hi August group!! We've made a change to our reservation...same dates, August 17-24, 2016 but we are now booked at the BEACH CLUB RESORT. We wanted to try an EPCOT resort for something different! We are very intrigued with the fact that we are a quick walk away from EPCOT and a decent walk to HS. We booked with the military rate and got a great deal! We made our dining list yesterday and will start to narrow it down soon. Not doing a dining plan this time. I'm thinking (and by using the dining calculator) that we may come out a little bit ahead this way. We just went last month and had the dining plan and I think that there were some not so good uses of it here and there. Trying it a little differently this trip! 228 days to go!!
