Hey all, possibly planning a trip for the last week in April and am wondering how everyone is booking their trips. I'm assuming through a travel agent? When will 2016 be available to book online? I usually prefer to book online because I like to play around with packages to see what will work best for me.

You picked a great week to go! I've done both. I have a "Magical" travel agent that has deep discounts during certain weeks of the year but if I'm going a week that she doesn't offer one I just book my own.

I just book it on my own. 2016 should be available online sometime in July (that's usually when they put the next year package info out).

I always book on my own as well. I've never used a travel agent.....I have too much fun doing all of my own planning!

I do everything by myself as well. And like @Tattylou said, they should be out in July I thiiiink they came out in the middle of the month last year but I can't 100% remember

same here never use a travel agent! we either book direct through disney on the phone, or book the DVC through someone we know.

I'm so so excited there is an April thread!
We are getting married at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Studios (the 11th-18th) and then spending a week in Disney (the 18th-25th)
I'm originally from mass but now I live in Maine.
We are nuts and we are driving with our son who will be 2 1/2. I'm super nervous but soooo excited!!

And I do use a travel agent. I don't have any free time and I take any help I can get!! I use the magic for less. Marsha is amazing!! I still do my own dining reservations and fastpass picks, but I need help with any discounts or offers that are out there!

Add me please! We are not dead set on our dates, but I am pretty sure it will be April 24-30. We will be staying at the Beach Club! My parents take each of their grandchildren to Disney when they turn 5, we went for my daughter two years ago and next year will be my son's turn. My brother and his wife may come also, that should be interesting as they are night people and with two young kids we are more morning people. Although I have found between the Disney World trip two years ago and the trip to Disneyland last September my kids are quite the park commandos. The three of us could easily stay in a park all day, but my husband and parents can not do that so much! I am so excited to plan this trip with you all!

I'm getting married in October, but my fiancee's new vacation hours don't kick in until the end of the year, and I'm a teacher who can't take a lot of school year time off anyway, so if all goes well financially for the next 6-9 months (something has always gone wrong in the past five years when I've tried to plan a trip, so seriously--cross all fingers!!!) we will be taking our honeymoon next April! I'd say probably April 1 - 7, which means we'll be risking those spring break crowds.... yikes!

Per these message boards 2016 packages can be booked beginning June 22...that is only 11 days

The 2016 Walt Disney Travel Company vacation packages will be available to book beginning June 17, 2015 for Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa and June 22, 2015 for Walt Disney World® Resort.

These packages will be valid for arrivals Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2016. Please note the last date of your Client’s vacation can not be booked more than 499 days in the future.
