*~~~The Official April 2014 Thread~~~*

yay for all of us spending Easter at Mickey's house. Please share what you think your family will be doing that day :lovestruc In all our years of Disney spring trips and April/May trips we have never actually been there on Easter sunday.:woohoo:

Good question! I have spent 2 Easters there when the kids were little---I cant for the life of me remember what the heck we did EXCEPT I KNOW we stayed away from the MK that day.....now I'll have to go looking through the photo albums:laughing:

I know that THIS time I'll be happy lounging poolside that day (something I wouldnt be able to if I was home in NY) and enjoying a fabulous dinner! Hmmm, now onto thinking about WHERE!!:rolleyes1

my thoughts exactly! I will stay away from the MK but am interested in seeing what others have done. We will eat dinner depending where we are, or leaning towards Ohana if we can get it or Boma for Easter dinner.MMMMMM!

I think my non-park spot to eat on Easter would be Ohana. You know, because of the ENDLESS FOOD!!! Oh my gosh. Where is the drooling emoticon when you need it?
Welcome to those new to the thread. I'll be updating your resort and dates this weekend!

Scored great airfare for easter week. Jetblue out of orh so happy!

I'm from Mass , too and I'm wondering what airport goes by ORH...looking into a stay Easter vacation week April 18-25. Room prices are high and want to check airlines too, before I go ahead with my plans.

its worcester! we have always flown out of BDL but worcester now will service Jetblue and fly direct to MCO also :thumbsup2 we got great prices booking the minute the flights were released so I am relieved that is done. Bradley had nothing that was affordable and I didnt want to wait for southest this year. We wanted assigned seats and the Tv's. Where in Ma are you?

That's so funny that ORH is Worcester Airport...it's 10 min from my house...I work in Worcester and never new it's official abbreviation. I will look into that @ Worc airport but I'm sure they are all gone at a good price....but who knows maybe I'll get lucky and get a good deal , too !!!

good luck! I know the prices have gone way up, but maybe there will be a deal that pops up?:confused3 We are going april 19-26th :woohoo:

I just checked and the prices were so so high...over $500 one-way for some days...do you know when SWA comes out with their April schedules? Thanks:thumbsup2

I believe southwest posts their schedule 6 months before. From RI and flying out of providence.....can't wait!

Hi Everyone! DH and I are going to WDW April 26-May 1... it will be our first time there in over 20 years, and our first time visiting as adults. (We didn't know each other back then, but both of our last visits were in 1992!) We'll also be going on our first ever cruise, a 3-night sail on the Disney Dream, after visiting the parks.

It's pretty exciting for us, because our vacations are usually spent traveling to see family or going camping; even our honeymoon was spent in a cabin up north. We'll still be seeing family because my cousin is getting married on the cruise (:goodvibes Yay! :goodvibes), but this will be our first big vacation since we've been together. Right now it's kind of overwhelming trying to plan out our budget, but we are incredibly fortunate to have family who are DVC members and who have generously booked us a studio to stay on site with them. Talk about pixie dust! :cloud9:
