I was using the app Map My Run (free version) and of course it wanted to suggest "friends" that I might want to add to my update list. Apparently it just pulled names from Facebook that also have the app, including some vague acquaintances from running group. I did not know this.
Imagine my iPhone beeping out an alert at 5:30 am and waking myself and DH. He picks it up and I have to groggily explain who "Justin" is and why he's sending me a notification that he just started a "new workout".
Yeah... I quickly disabled everybody except for my sis-in-law!!!

Truth be told, it was more to stick it to my husband. He had a tough time pushing them during our run a couple weekends ago and I wanted to prove to him that it wasn't that hard.
So figured we would go on Sunday, but forgot about my run. At least I was happy I got it in and lost calories instead of adding them

Now, it could have been fake, IDK, I'm definitely not Anita Blake vampire hunter or anything LOL. I looked at him, looked back, and kept running. They were horsing around and the other people hanging around outside seemed disinterested, but still. The guy on the radio on my nike ipod was singing "catch me if you can" and it seemed appropriate. Needless to say it will be a while before I run at home again! Really glad Louisville has an excellent park system.
