The Non-Catchy Title PTR

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!
..Hope you had a magical day :)

Thanks Tinkerbell! We did!

Just read your PreTrip Report, your family is so cute!!! Sounds like your going to have a fabulous trip lots of fun days planned. We have been (DH, DS19, DD16 and myself) twice in September 2007 & 2008 and loved it. Never a long wait for anything.:banana:

We're going in November (DH & myself) for 7 days and can't wait. Looking forward to seeing the Christmas decorations:santa::santa:.

Have a fabulous trip looking forward to reading a Trip Report when you get back...

Safe travel to you!!! :thumbsup2
TexasBelle

Hi TexasBelle! Thanks for joining. We are BIG Dallas Cowboy fans, are you?
Our last trip was in Sept & it was so nice w/out lines & the free food!!
I would LOVE to go during Christmas season, I've heard that it is decorated beautiful!

Can't believe I missed wishing you a Happy Anniversary:confused3SO......HAPPY ANNIVERSARY....hope it was the best one ever!!!

Well.... I just had to leave you a real quick comment - I didn't have time to read all of your pages yet! There is a NASCAR race on TV right now :cool1: - don't want to miss much of that! So I'll have to do more reading tomorrow! I just need to tell you... you have a very NICE looking family and your kids are adorable.... does a 5th grade boy like to be called adorable? Probably not :rotfl:! I'm joining in on your PTR... better late than never, right? We stayed at CBR earlier this year and  it, the food court wasn't the best but most of the time we were eating in the park or at a TS restaurant. Enjoy your trip and I'd be curious to know how your kids did being pulled out of school in 5th grade. My DD will be in 5th next year and I'm trying to decide if it is worth it or just go during the summer months to avoid any school homework problems???

All caught up now! If your September trip is anything like ours just was you will see VERY few crowds! The only day it was crowded was our last day at MK when it was an AM EMH day, we couldn't believe how busy it was! We generally avoid the parks with EMHs since it DOES draw crowds, but it was our last day, so we sucked it up. ;) Almost everything was a walk-on...I even saw Soarin' at a FIVE MINUTE wait! :faint:

Congratulations on one week and Happy Anniversary!!!!

Thanks for the compliments & joining in on my PTR!
Your race is almost over & I hope whoever you pull for wins. I've always pulled for Jeff Gordan & Brad pulls for Dale Jr, we don't get to see them win often.
I am so glad you've told me how much you liked CBR! Now, I'm even more excited about my trip! I am really excited about the pool at CBR! I don't think we will be eating at the resort more than maybe one time & it will be pizza.
I will let you know how the schoolwork goes. Their teacher is going to get classwork prepared for us this week.

That's good to know about the low crowds! How was the heat?
I'm glad you had a good trip & can't wait to see all the pics of Henry enjoying his trip!

:lmao: Well... the race is done now :cool1: and my man Tony Stewart is in the Chase so all is well in my NASCAR world! Hmmm.... I do have to wonder how much longer Hendrick is going to keep Jr. around though.... I was a BIG fan of the "Man in Black" so Jr is good for me, but Stewart is better!! My kids LOVED the pool and my DD said one slide was much faster than the other slide but I can't tell you which one... guess your kids will have to try them both! The pizza isn't the best so we had Flippers deliver and man was that pizza G.O.O.D.!!! Oh as an FYI.... we requested Aruba 51 or Jamaica 45 and got the Aruba building... the more requests made for room type or location the less chance you get what you really want.... so I just gave them the non-preferred location request and they honored it ! Do check out bus stops 'cuz the Jamaica bus stop was closer to our Aruba building than Aruba's bus stop was. It's not worth walking more at the end of a long day if you don't have to!

Yay for your Stewart! Brad was a BIG Sr fan & that's why he pulls for Jr.
Heck, I'm going to try both slides to see which one is faster! :goodvibes
Did you fax your request in? I've already put on my request when I booked the vacation for Martinque non-preferred building #22.
I plan on faxing request this week too.
We will check out the bus stops, thanks!

No, I didn't do any faxing... my travel agent did :). However, for our trip next year I am thinking I have enough guts now to book the thing myself! After reading this board for a few years I have learned an awful lot! Martinique 22 is perfect and you will probably have a 3 min walk to the main pool and food court! If you get your request honored you could use either Martinique's stop or the stop at the food court. Enjoy your trip!

All caught up... Man, I have no idea how I missed your pretrip before. Here are some thoughts that come to mind:

#1-
Holy Crap! 40? You look 30 so forget about my post about anything about my skin and I need to know your beauty secrets immediately. Like right now... and that leads me to number 2

#2
Are you guys for real? You look like you all stepped out of a modeling agency. Talk about gorgeous! God has blessed you with a wonderfully close and beautiful family. Did your DH buy a gun yet because your daughter is absolutely stunning. She looks like a mini-you! Your children look so close. My favorite pic was of them on Test Track and they were holding on to each other. LOVE IT!

#3 My DH is very dear, but he told me the same thing about shirts again this year.

#4
That autograph book is awesome

#5
That itinerary book is even more awesome. I thought I was a planner, but you put me to shame!:worship:

I had such a good time reading your pretrip report, will you be writing a trip report? IT'S ALMOST TIME!!!!!!

Hey Amy!!!

Yes, Big Dallas Cowboy Fan, but love the Texas Ranger's more!!! Go Rangers!!!!

Our count down is on, 2 month's from today we leave :banana:, but you leave in 5 days, I'm so excited for you!

DH & I's last trip to DW was January 3rd through 9th 2010, we moved our oldest son Eric22 to Orlando for: "Professional Golfer's Career College" doesn't that sound like a great school to attend, play golf all day long. So, our last trip wasn't that great because Orlando and Florida was the coldest that they had seen for years: freezing weather and even snow flurries :scared1:, for the first time I didn't enjoy roaming around the parks. It was funnier being inside our resort, we stayed at Wilderness Lodge. Great atmosphere for the cold weather. Christmas decorations were out but slowly each day they were disappearing during the middle of the night and we did see the Osbourne lights one night (It was the light night for the light show). Sooooo I'm really hoping that the weather will be great and I'm looking forward to seeing all the Christmas :santa: Decorations and attending MVMCP. :cool1::cool1:

We love going in September, it been our favorite time of the year. The weather is always great hot but not scorching hot, (I love hot weather) but as you already have found out it's the best time of the year. The times we have been Halloween Decorations have been out and we've watched the MNSSHP, Love this Parade and Party!! It's fun, Will you be able to attend that party????

Did you end up switching your day's DHS and AK??? We love AK on really low days over the 3.8, because the park is such a hot & crowded park with lots of people in it, I would switch if you could. I know dining reservations are hard to get, but use a walk up Pizzafari or Flaming Tree or something else. We got Tusker House for Breakfast on a really low day, so you might try to get that. :confused3

My DH has read all the Kingdom Keeper's books and plus the bio on Walt and said they were fabulous. He was so excited to read that your kids have read them. That's awesome.

2 month's for us, and 5 days for you. :cool1::cool1::cool1: Happy Dance Time! Are you going to write a trip report? Take lots of great pictures!!!

Sorry about the rambling!!! :lmao:
TexasBelle (Carolyn)

after "meeting" you on another thread - i found your PTR! Love it! You do have a beautiful family - and happy belated anniversary! we're also going to be celebrating our 10th while at WDW about a month late. i was checking out your days you have planned, hoping we'd be at the same park at least one day - but no luck. :sad2:
Praying for good weather while we're all traveling and there! Keeping a close watch on those storms. Have a great trip - can't wait to read your TR!

I used a TA the 1st trip because it terrified me to plan it on my own. But, I think the Disboards is the best TA, I booked our own this time.
I'm glad to read that you think Martinique 22 would be a good choice!

#1 You are too funny! I assure you my skin looks nothing like yours! I do not use any skin products, but I don't tan. I did tan & use tanning beds in teens & 20's and now wish that I didn't. I think trying not to have stress helps w/aging. I would like to stay eating healthy & exercising, but I fail miserably w/that. I just ate a order of Pizza Hut breadsticks for a snack & tried to justify it because I went to gym today. I'm so mad at myself right now!

#2 God has blessed me with a wonderful husband & kids. I thank Him everyday for it.
Lexi & Levi are very close. They are either fighting or playing with each other all the time. ;)

#3 I think Brad thinks he will look like a girlie-man if he wears one! :rotfl:

#4 & 5 Thanks!

I am going to write a TR. I am so excited about going and I know you are too!

I enjoyed your rambling:)
That does sound like a great school for your son! Living in Fl & playing golf! :thumbsup2
I cannot imagine snowing in Florida! I have a cousin that lives in Fl & I remember now when he called me & told me that it was snowing.
I bet Wilderness Lodge was nice, especially since you didn't have to walk outside to go to different areas of resort.
We are not going to MNSSHP. I am really tight with my money. My friends all make fun of me. When I looked at price, I did not want to pay that in addition to trip. If we go in Sept/Oct again, I will have to investigate & see if I think it would be worth it. It must be fun because from what I'm reading in everyone's PTR, everyone is going!

I think I am going to switch my AK & DHS dates. I kept trying & was able to get a additional Sci-Fi reservation for my switch. At 1st there was not any available if I switched our days & I knew Lexi/Levi would love that restaurant.

The kids & I read the 1st Kingdom Keepers. Since school started they will not finish the series until next summer. They are in a reading program at school & the KK were not on the list for them to get points for reading it. They are now reading the Harry Potter series & are on the 4th book. I've already finished the HP series & am sad it's ended.

I'm a picture-holic & will definitely take tons of pics for TR!

One year, we will go down at Christmas to see the decorations/lights!

Thanks for joining neighbor!
Happy 10th anniversary!!
I hate that we're not going to be in any of the same parks!:guilty:
I'm praying for good weather too!!!
How many hours will take for ya'll to get to Disney?
I thought is was 9 for us, but my DH just said it was only 7. I'm going to mapquest it, because 7 sure does sound a lot better!

I am so excited, and I am so happy you will be doing a trip report. This is how I feel...

Hope you had a great weekend!

Look at this picture, it looks beautiful to me:

PTR001.jpg

Alexis is all packed & ready to go!!!! :jumping1:

Here is Levi's suitcase. Notice each day clothes is in a ziplock bag. I saw this tip on the Disboards two years ago. It works out wonderful!!!! I love the Dis

PTR002.jpg

Levi's suitcase would be finished, but when I was packing his clothes, he had put shorts in his drawer that were filthy dirty.
Boys! :rolleyes2
So I'm washing them right now to pack tomorrow. :laundy:

I've started on my suitcase & I'm pretty impressed with myself since I'm usually packing my stuff at 12:00 am the night before a trip.

Here are our bags for the park with LGMH attached.

This is my Baggallinie. I found it at T.J. Maxx at a great price!

craigslist029.jpg

Here is our generic cheap bag. We used it last trip & we all 4 took turns carrying it. Can you see the Shrinky-Dinks that we made?

craigslist030.jpg

I have found more items for trip while out shopping:

A new bathing suit for Levi. I liked it because it looks pirate themed pirate: & it would go with CBR theme, AND because it was summer clearanced for $4!

craigslist030-1.jpg

I also bought me a new bathing that I've been looking at all summer & it finally went on sale.

craigslist029-1.jpg

Dancegrl624 offered up a ON 30% coupon on her PTR & I gladly accepted & took full advantage. Two of the items I bought were Disney related.

I bought Lexi this Halloween shirt

craigslist025.jpg

And Lexi & Levi these spinning light-up toys to use in parks at night

PTR003.jpg

That coupon saved me $30 that day!
Dancegrl 624 also posted a while back about a Vera Bradley sale & I bought a backpack that I had been wanting.
I don't know whether to thank her for saving me money or causing me to spend money??? :rolleyes1
Either way, Thanks Meghan!!! :goodvibes

I still have lots to post, but not really much time left. Football games have started for Levi & Brad is coaching. Alexis volleyball has started & I'm coaching that.

Next Post: Matching Shirts

Hahahaha....I love helping people save money! I almost bought Madison one of those light up toys, but I didn't. :sad1: I'm working today, so maybe I'll pick one up (if we have any left).
