Let's see now, we have been to EPCOT and MGM, so today(Wed) we are off to AK. We slept in until 7:00 AM and still made it by 9:00 and proceeded to the Kilamanjaro Safari. A great attraction.
Let me digress by saying how great the weather and crowds had been so far. We never experienced crowding to this point and today was no exception.
Back to AK. We rode all of the major rides and visited the different treks. Dinosaur was a bit of a disappointment. Too rough and dark, poor story line. ITTBaB was the best 3D movie we have ever seen. Leaving around 2:00, we watched the Pop bus pull out, but within 20 minutes another was there to pick us up. All week the buses were reliable and prompt.
One of my girls commented on how mature the trees and vegetation was for a newer park. I said it had to be pixie dust. Am I right? BTW, Expedition Everest looks like an awesome ride. We all had naptime again.
We came back to EPCOT for the evening and rode several rides we missed on Monday. We had to ride Soarin' again because it is so great.
I should also mention that my 22 yo daughter who is a fitness buff would eat the children's meals while 20 yo and I ate cheeseburgers and fries. She had one meal which consisted of make your own sub sandwich, applesauce and drink for $3.99. We all started eating these as they tasted quite good.
Observations: Disneys attention to detail is unbelievable. You could hardly tell where one compound was seperated from another on Safari.
Downers: Absolutely none
