just wondering, how did everyone figure out sleeping arrangements & getting ready arrangements? Did DF stay with you and then leave in the morning of the wedding? Or did he stay in another room? It sounds silly (DF and I already live together) but I dont know if he should stay with me the night before and leave in the morning, or stay else-where for the night :rotfl:

Me & DF live together already too but we are going to spend the night before apart. He will stay in the villa we are hiring with his family and I will stay in a Disney hotel with my mum & maybe my sister too :)

We live together already as well. But before the wedding my MOH and I are sharing a room and DF is at a different end of the resort in his own room. We feel it just adds to the fun of not seeing each other until the ceremony.

DF and I are not living together yet so my MOH and I are at The Poly and DF will spend the night at The Swan.
Then we will be off to the GF for our honeymoon

I stayed in the room we had been in since we arrived (at the Y.C.), and he went to stay with one of his groomsmen (at P.O.F.Q.). He packed up what he needed to shower the morning of the wedding, and clothes to throw on to travel back to the Y.C. in and then all the guys got ready in my parents' room (which was down the hall from mine) after also showering and throwing on travel clothes the morning of. My girls did the same but got ready in my room. He actually saw me the morning of technically because there were E.M.H. the morning of the wedding at the M.K. 'til 3am, so we were there 'til 2something am. :rotfl:

Haha, love the banana.

I def think I want to spend the night apart, it totally adds to the excitement :cool1:. But, here's the thing. We're gonna be staying in one of the deluxe resorts, not sure which one yet, and my bridal party will be at one of the All Star's along with his bridal party. Should I have the girls come to my room the morning of?

We are spending the night apart even though we live together.

DF is staying in the villa with my brother and his best man whilst my mum and i are staying at the hotel.

We were at the GF and just had two big rooms - one for the girls and one for the boys. The Boys were on the same floor just all the way down at the other end of things. It worked out well - they were a good distance away but still close enough.

If you are planning to see eachother before the wedding I don't think it matters. If you aren't planning to see eachother until you get to the alter then I would def have him stay in a different room.

My DF and I have also been living together for a about 2 years, but we felt the same way we didn't want to get ready together before our wedding.

I stayed at Coronado Springs with my parents (my sister and her husband were next door and my other bridesmaid and her family were a few doors down).

DF stayed in 'our room' his mom and aunt came to him to get ready the morning of.

Then the limo pick then up at POFQ drove to Coronado to the guys that where with us, then came back to get me and my girls. :)

The biggest challange we had was getting my dad's tux and my overnight bag back after the wedding. I kills me how they let you pick up the tux days and even a week before the event, but they want it back the morning after. :confused3

What we ended up doing was this, we all went to our own rooms to change and clean up then DF, oh I mean now DH, and I met my parents at Downtown Disney and did the exchange of "stuff".

Our first thoughts were to go to EPCOT for EMH but after the long day, it was nice to get cleaned up and do some shopping then head back to our room. We actually went to sleep pretty early, is that a sign of getting old. LOL

LOL...no, I have a feeling the day of/after the wedding, I'm gonna fall out too! I'm tired all ready and I still have 6 months to go. But yea, I'm glad you brought that up, because I hadnt thought of the fact that we will have to return the tux the next day :headache:...(annoying!) Another thing for me to put on the list to coordinate, thanks

We stayed at a deluxe resort (the Y.C.) and my girls were at a moderate (P.O.F.Q.) and the guys were at A.S.Mu.

We were able to have some Y.C. runner take the tuxes back to M.W. I honestly don't know how this came about, because when I went to bed the night of the wedding I heard one of my cousins who lives in FL was gonna come pick 'em up and take 'em back...but then the next morning my parents told me the runner was going to take them back. :)

I ended up staying at the GF where we stayed throughout our stay and he stayed over at the pop with most other guests! I just thought it was much easier since we would have everything with the exception of his overnight bag already out and ready in our room!

Oh and we lived together too!:)

DFi will be staying at the POFQ which is our room and I'll be checking in the night before at the Beach Club From our free nights for signing our contract.

NYPrincess- will you be doing an MK shoot? Then you can't return the tux until after that. That's why we bought DFi his suit.

:headache::laughing:...see all of the things we as brides have to remember! OMG. Thank you for reminding me about that, tentatively, yes, we are thinking of doing the MK shoot, so I need to keep that in mind. I'm gonna go nuts by November. Do brides typically check into the craz house after the wedding? :rolleyes1

No crazy house, you'll just have a LOT of fun once it's time to walk down the aisle cuz it's like, "YES! IT'S FINALLY HERE! NO MORE WEDDING WORK!!!!!" :cheer2:

Exactly, and then the day goes by in a blink. Even my guests said it went by so quickly. No issues everything just flowed nicely from one thing to the other.
So that begs the question, why was I so tired. LOL

LMAO!! It's a lot to take in at first but you'll see just how much DFTWs does for you that you would normally do on your own if you were having an at home wedding and you'll be so relieved. After the planning session I was like :scared1: "there is now way I would be able to do all this by myself at home!" Thank God for my planner, she's a godsend.

Same here. I know why I was so tired. E.M.H. at the M.K. 'til 2something am the day of, and then not going to bed cuz I wanted to make sure we had enough reg. reception dance music (which we ended up having MORE than enough of!). :rolleyes1

We're staying at BWV for the trip, and I got a 1 bdrm at BLT for the night before for me and the girls. I wanted us to have a special room all to ourselves to get ready in and for pictures and stuff....plus I get to take the monorail to my wedding! How cool is that??

We didn't live together before the wedding. So the night before the wedding, I checked into a suite, in which we would have for 4 nights(then checked into a reg room for the rest of the honeymoon). Anyhow, DF stayed in my parents room with my dad. While my mom stayed with me in the suite. The suite had a lot of room in it which helped in getting ready the next day. Once DF was off in the limo for photos, my dad brought his luggage to the suite and later left the hotel with my, my mom and a couple of friends. I say it worked out well for us.
