Last night I called WDTC to voice my concern about the wording on our confirmation that states we must have our balance on our room only reservation paid in full by 5/17. She immediatly said "no" that it must be a misprint, but put me on hold and double checked, in her words, "incase there was anything at all she was not aware of". She cam back and stated that it must indeed be a misprint. I also asked to double check that we have anon-smoking room. She said yes, but to realize that it was not a guaranteed reuqest but it was noted and the resort would do it's best to fill that request upon arrival. I said I understood that. Then she asked if there was a medical reason for needing the non-smoking and I said that my DH has asthma and can't breathe well in smoking rooms. She said she would type that into my request to hopefully ensure we would get the NS room. Then she saw that we were return guests and asked if there was any special reason for taking this trip or if it was just a well-deserved vacation. Next she asked if we needed to make PS's and I said we already had and thanked her, to which she asked "where" and I listed them off and she confirmed they were great places to eat and we'd really enjoy our experiences there. She also asked about both my first and last name because they are difficult to pronounce and we made small talk about having to pronounce people's names. It was quite a pelasant conversation and I haven't reached a CM like that for over a year with all teh Disney calling I do! So, I just appreciated the kindness and the care she took and wondered if anyone else got excited over calling and getting a chipper CM! :rotfl:

Yes, there have been a few times I have gotten really nice CMs. Once especially when I called the DCL line and talked forever with a CM when we were thinking of going on a cruise, when were the best rates, etc. She was the nicest, and it made a difference to me. :goodvibes

Not sure if you thought to or not, but I probably would have asked for her name and then sent a letter to her supervisor or department to let them know how helpful she was to you and how much you appreciated it. Unfortunately in that type of job, the supervisors all too often hear complaints and don't hear about the people who are doing a great job.

I just now had a woncerful CM as well. I called the dining line to see if any Fantasmic dining pckge times had opened up on June 8th. The cm was so helpful. He found a time for me, made suggestions to me about how to avoid the parade, offered to look up what time Fantasmic was being performed that night, then made suggestions as to when I might need to arrive to get a good seat.

Reminded me of the old days :goodvibes
