On our recent trip to the World, I noticed that not all the bathrooms have it but many do - Does anyone know what I am talking about? It was in a lot of the AK bathrooms, some of the MK bathrooms, the Boardwalk lobby bathroom and more.... Anyways, last night, my daughter and I were at a local restuarant (Wild Wing in Aurora, Ontario, Canada,) and I went to the washroom and lo and behold - there was the smell! When I came back to the table, I told my daughter to go to the washroom and to tell me if she recognized the smell. Of course, she did, right away! She investigated in the washroom and found the air freshener called "T Cell - citrus" We told the waitress that their washrooms smelled like the ones at WDW and she did not get it at all. She thought it was a bad thing - we told her that they smelled magical to us and she thought we were nuts! Anyways - I may try to find that air freshener but it seems like an industrial product.

I can't help you but, your story reminded me of a candle that Yankee used to make that smelled like the hotel rooms! I used to buy them all the time. I stopped buying them a few years back for no particular reason.
Well, this past October, the day after we returned from WDW, we were at the mall waiting to see the Toy Story 3D double feature. We got there early so I went to the Yankee store and they looked at me like I was crazy! They kept asking what it smelled like and I kept saying "It smells like Disney World!" :confused3 Never found it!
Let us know if you find the air freshener!

In my town, the bathrooms at Macy's and Target smell like the bathrooms WDW. My DH even came out of the Macy's bathroom once, and commented on it, so I know it wasn't just me having Disney withdrawals.

We love the smell of the Beach Club and Yankee has a similar scent called Ocean Blossom that smells just like you have walked thru the lobby doors of the Beach Club.

The resort rooms have that same smell. Must be some cleaning products mousekeeping uses.

Some of the bathrooms have the scent of Aparagus:rolleyes1

I'll have to check that one out! I been burning Yankee Beach Vacation since October, which doesn't really smell like Disney but, still smells like vacation...

This thread is cracking me up because I always liked the smell of most of the WDW bathrooms but I thought people would think I was crazy if I started a thread about it. I would love to know what that smell is too, I wouldn't mind having it for my bathroom. Love that smell, well most of the time.

thank you safety mom. I thinking of ordering ths air freshener. Will it take the magic away from being there though? My duaghter told me that is why she is not downloading the music from Soarin' because she wants it to be special for when she is there.

seee your daughters point about the music, but on the other hand i listen to it to get me into the disney spirit, and it also holds me over to when i get to see and hear the rides again. i have disney music playing allllll the time lol:cheer2:

The bathrooms at several of the Targets in San Antonio smell EXACTLY like WDW bathrooms!!! As did the bathroom at the hotel we were staying in. It was crazy to walk into a target bathroom and get a Disney rush!:lmao:

I absolutely LOVE IT that I am not alone this "WDW bathroom smell" thing.

We Dis'ers just "get" each other!:thumbsup2

Strange thing happened today.

I read this thread yesterday, and kinda went "that's nice...". At work in the mens room, there is one of those, but "industrial sized" - not T Cell, but another manufacturer, with a full sized aerosol-type can, high up on the wall. Not unusual for businesses and restaurants.

I walked into the mens room today, and right at eye level as you walk in - a brand new T Cell unit, just like the one in the picture. And the bathroom smells nicer (not that it ever actually smelled). And the old one was gone.

"Blue Splash"...

It was just really weird walking in there today, seeing that, and knowing EXACTLY what it was, from this thread...

I don't like to be a party pooper but many of those air freshners in public bathrooms can give me an asthma attack an send me to hospital for day....not the way I care to spend a disney vacation.........

HATE the air freshners in bathrooms they are almost always way to strong..

DH and I have commented on our Target "Disney" bathroom smell as well. We also thought we were the only ones. He will laugh when I tell him there is an entire thread about it.:rotfl:

All these posts about Yankee Candle force me to mention that PartyLite has AWESOME scents and far superior candles. Ocean Mist and Seaside Mist are both great for the bathroom...just had to share...being as I'm a senior unit leader and am able to afford our WDW vacations because of all the extra moolah I make with them!
