I'm not much of a talker on these parts of the boards. I can't stand a few things that are routinely discussed here, so I try my best to stay out and try not to offend people.

I'm thinking of writing a script for one of my concepts involving an Are You Afraid Of the Dark -style mystery. Yeah, I've got a total of nine concepts that all have characters, sketches, scripts, and synopsises made up for TV networks. Hopefully one day you'll see them on Nick, MTV, or The CW.

Oh, and the name is Alec, but most of the friends call me Alex.

sorry, i think that's a really cool name to have, but my lil sister is OBSESSED with anything that remotely relates to the twilight series...
she almost makes me not like it...

Heh, one of the characters in the series I'm writing the mystery for is named Alex. I think the "plain" names are perfect for the characters because the name represents more kids than a unique one would, so it appeals a bit more to people.

I'm already using Twilight and High School Musical as the basis for two of the other episodes, so I suppose Are You Afraid Of The Dark could take over one of the other characters.

Alex has the HSM episode where a movie brainwashes the entire high school with messages of hope and dreams, causing them all to become singing, dancing zombies who will stop at nothing to share their message with others. Alex was listening to his MP3 player when the movie was playing, so he didn't hear anything.

Now he has to team up with the 20-something librarian and an overly dramatic drama student to stop them once and for all.

You can tell my attitude about HSM, no?
