A BOX FULL OF SHARP OBJECTS: This is the song that first attracted John Feldmann to our band. We were sending him mp3's of our songs as we wrote them. This is the one that really stood out to him and made him decide to produce our band. This is a song about being proud of what we were doing for once and loving music to the fullest. The idea actually came from some sheet music. A box full of sharp objects represents a measure of time on paper with quarter notes. We all thought that it was a very strong metaphor. It's the song that we really realized that working together and having the different influences we all have could work really good for us. We played it at our first show ever back in Provo and we had 3 ballerina's dancing on stage during it. It was beautiful, they were all in black and had pale face makeup on... it was amazing, but some of the kids didn't seem to really get it.

so today in maths i found out how to make the calculator say "XOXO." endless fun. :') i couldn't get it to say "XOXO, Gossip Girl" though. D: but i did make it say "XOXO, gg" so that's close enough. :D

ON MY OWN: This came from a song Quinn wrote while at home in Utah. There's a spot called Squaw Peak up the Canyon in our home town where you can look out over the entire valley where we live. Everyone around us was moving forward in different ways and at times it felt like we were going nowhere, it was early inspiration for the song. While we were in London recording our record we sat down together and Bert wrote the lyrics to the song as we all talked about it and put out our ideas as well. We also recorded the song while we were in London. We were fortunate enough to get some of London's top string players to come in and record on the song as well as a few others on the record. Sitting in the room while the orchestra recorded it was the most powerful, beautiful thing we'd ever heard.

SAY DAYS AGO: Writing this song took us a while. The idea began with the guitar part from the chorus. We had so many ideas that we couldn't decide what the **** we wanted to do. We basically wrote and re-wrote it about five times before anything actually became of it, so it was different every time we jammed it. We just loved it, it was hard and faster and had the kind of sickness that we ****ing love. The lyrics come from writings Bert had about using crystal meth and how time changes things so much.

I wonder if Most Haunted: the Live Series will have a live audience. I hope so. Might be able to go.

Hey people what's up with everyone?

JUST A LITTLE: This song is only previously available on our Japan release and a 3 song EP we put out just before the album came out. So we've decided to put it on here and share it with those who may not have it yet. While recording the demo version of this song at our house we had a funny thing happen. Bert had been in Branden's closet (which we converted to a vocal booth) recording the vocals. He suddenly came out with a worried look and told us there was a frog or something in there. We looked to see and there was a big ****ing bat on the wall about 10 inches in front of where Bert had been singing. We all screamed and ran out of the house. When we went back in it had come out and was flying around the room. It was the creepiest looking thing. After screaming and running out several more times Quinn finally became the hero. The bat had landed on the curtains and was hanging there upside down. Quinn took his shirt off and ran up and swiped it up into his shirt. Running out of the house screaming again with his shirt in hand and a bat inside of it, we managed to get it into a big bowl with a lid. Later Jeph let it go down the street. **No bats were harmed in the making of the demo**

The sun was rising over Disney's Old Key West Resort, and all the resort guests were still asleep in their beds. All except a teenager who was woken from his slumber by the phone ringing. Yawning, he answered it and a cheery song played through the reciever. He looked at the time and groaned. 4:30am! The teen considered sleeping again, then remembered the reason he got asked for the wake-up call in the first place. He was heading on a backstage tour of the Magic Kingdom. Not just any tour, but a special tour made for D23 members that gave access to walking the sets of Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. As quick as he could, he got ready to leave, only pausing to eat a quick breakfast, said goodbye to his parents whom he inadvertently woken up, and fled the room in a hurry. Within minutes of leaving, he had reached the Ticket & Transportation Center and waited for his friend to arrive.

Yeah...

IT COULD BE A GOOD EXCUSE: We were kind of experimenting when we wrote this song. This is the actual home recording. We just wanted to try using different rhythms and it was the first time we tried changing time signatures in a song. It was fun as hell to write and play for a while but in the end it wasn't that good of a song so we left it behind. But here it is for you to check out.

I love the way they film Most Haunted Live sometimes. Never has a glass moving around a table felt so exciting!

i can make the calculator spell my name :lmao:

oh gosh. im actually so stressed at the minute.

D:

LOL George! so glad school is over for another day... I have guides later D: it's too cold... my friends mum is picking mr up from my house and then my mum is picking us up from guides :| I don't wanna gooooooooooooooooo D:

I don't even like it that much, I just go because it makes my mum happy... you have no idea how disappointed she will be with me if I quit... she will act like it's ok, but you can tell it's not... makes me feel so guilty

If I was like I don't want to go anymore, she will be like why, and if I can't give her a decent reason she will tell me to stop being silly and get on with it...

Tips anyone?

anything?

Why are you so stressed?

ive also got to think about my 'dental hygiene' just SO that i can get my braces. i have an overactive gag reflex, which basically means whenever someone touched the back of my mouth, i start gagging.
