Hello, ladies and gentlemen...and Bob! I just returned from a short (3-day) trip to Michigan with my oldest DD. I'll be home tomorrow, then heading to Chicago on Friday to use my "Free Friday" award from Starwood. My DH and DS will attend a White Sox game, and younger DD and I will SHOP!

Ann - I think solo trips to WDW are great, so go for it!

Teri - I'm glad you had fun at WDW. It's too bad you missed seeing SSB at the lemonade stand. He has always been busy schlepping lemonade the last 4 times I've been there.

Milo and Lora - I hope your move goes smoothly. Are you prepared to go from Arizona's "dry heat" to one of the "sweatiest" states in the US?

I'd have to agree about "old-lady camping"! My idea of roughing it is a 3-star hotel.

I'd love to go on a cruise, and DH and I seriously considered taking a Mediterranean cruise for our 20th anniversary in October. That got shelved in favor of something even better - IMHO!

Nancy--where are you staying in Chicago?

We used one of our Free Weekends at the W Lakeshore a couple of weeks ago.....Obviously, it was on Lakeshore Drive, not far from the Yacht Club....very near the Navy Pier

Hoity, toity.....crowded.....beautiful view......black ceilings in the rooms, but, very nice. Sounds awful...looked great. Crowded. Crowded. Crowded.

Sue - we'll be at the W Lakeshore, too! I checked out the hotel last month while in Chicago for Patrick-Con, and while ultra contemporary is NOT my style - it's a great location.

Scarlett - if you need any lessons in "useless-junk" posting, just ask lame-o Bob!

hey...speaking of cheesecake...does anyone know if the cheesecake factory express place in DQ serves all different varieties of cheesecake or is it the main staples? just curious...

Hello everyone! Man we had one wicked storm come through my area today. Lightening was so very bad - power went out for about 45 mins. I was an hour late to work.


All is kind of calm here now - still cloudy outside. How is everyone tonight? I have not caught up on what the 3 or 4 pages that have went by since I was here last night.
