just thought i'd pop in and say hey to anyone posting tonight...i've had a glorius weekend so far...i'm currently being spoiled to no end...i received presents this morning (sappy cards, new dixie chicks cd, and some smell good stuff)...was taken out for breakfast...then shopping for a bit...then to a movie (lilo and stitch, i figured that since we were going to WDW, it might be wise to see it before we left)...and now my wonderful fiance is making me egg rolls! i love egg rolls...

oh btw...it's my birthday...

and don't get me going on the whole soulmate thing!!! i know for a fact that i am with my soulmate!!!! we spent 12 years apart, with other people, and always knew we were soulmates...we finally got our act together!


k...gotta help finish the egg rolls...and drink my wine...and wait for my ice cream cake...and wait for the fireworks show...

The lobsters were YUMMY--- the steamed clams however. were less than yummy....too big and rubbery.. But the lobsters and excellent local sweet corn on the cob...mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Corn was almost as sweet as Madyson, but not quite . The little cutie was dressed in her Minnie Mouse shorts outfit I picked up off the clearance rack at Target a few weeks ago...figuring if Mady turned out to be a boy I could pass it along or save it for the next litle girl baby to come along. It's a black tee shirt with a HUGE Minnie face in red & white on the front and adorable little red polka dot ruffled panty thingies. She basically snoozed from 4:30 til about 8 except for one interruption to nurse. She even snoozed while we ate. Then about 8 she woke up and was ready to party...we were geting ready to leave but stayed to play with her an hour while she was wake and alert. She's grown since we saw her last Sunday!

Teri--can you post me some dessert please???

Hi everyone - poking my head in here in the middle of the night.

Thanks to everyone for asking about and sending good thoughts and prayers for my Mom...keep 'em coming, if you would. She was supposed to get the test results this past week, but apparently the game plan has been changed, and she's not going to get the results until she sees the specialist this Wednesday. I'm TRYING not to be pessimistic about all this, but to me...that just didn't sound so good. I'm going to try not to make myself nuts about this...but I won't be able to rest easy until Wednesday night.

Glad to see everyone having fun...Milo, glad you've landed and are fixin' get get all Tex-ified.

Hi Gail...thanks for the update on your mom,I've been thinking about her and about you! I know that anxious waiting feeling, having been there more times than I'd like with both my parents. ...but it can be a GOOD sign too ( in our experience, anyway) that the results are not indiciative of something so grave that it can't wait. Did that make sense? Anyhow...I know all to well how hard it is not to be nutty with worry (I am the Princess of Pessimism at times )...and how easy it is for people to say worrying isn't going to change the outcome blah blah blah .....But hey, you're already nuts , so hang in there---we will all keep sending positive thoughts and prayers! And get some sleep, will ya?

Tonight....still undecided....but we are having a little of our Epcot favorite...Tsingtao Beer....so Chinese might be the order of the evening.....Actually.....love the Tsingtao...but for some reason it tastes much better in China....

Lst night we had lobsters and beer with Madyson's parents..this afternoon we babysat Avery while his parents went to the Mall for a bit...then they stayed to dinner...we had "surf n' turf"..split up 2 salmon steaks and two beef steaks...a little for each of us (DD went to her girlfriend's for chinese and a movie ) DIL and I managed..somehow to drink a whole bottle of wine??? Not sure how that happened...methinks the men stole some while we weren't looking hehehe
Anyway......DH is calling me.......a night with no DD........etc

Weather here is nice....Rainy on Saturday, but cooled the temps a bit....There is a tropical storm warning at the present time...but we can't tell...

In honor of Labor Day I am not going to do any laboring that I don't want to do!! I am going to buy some fall mum plants and putter in the yard I think. It's kind of overcast here...hoping it does not rain.

Hi everyone!! Hope everyone is having a greatday today on this holiday. I am at work - making double and half my normal pay so I cant complain!

Well I am all moved into my new place. I have a spare bedroom now if anyone wants to come visit. (I went from a studio with no bedroom to a 2 bedroom!!) I am still living out of boxes though so that is not very fun. I am just so tired and have no energy to unpack another box - maybe tomorrow.

I think that I took Ann's advice...No Labouring.....

We woke up about 10AM, played on the computers, ate left over Chinese food, took a 3.5 hour nap, and are just about to eat some dinner.....

I guess that I have been working a little hard lately.....

ok, well I hope that everyone had a wonderful day. Lots of sunshine here...but that did not seem to matter as we had the blinds drawn all day long.....

It rained and/or drizzled all afternoon here, but we shopped and planted anyway, my little strip in front of the house, up the walkway. looks very pretty now with fall mums, and pansies called "icicle pansies" that they were pushing - low proce plus coupon- at Home Depot. Supposedly they will bloom all fall, do dormant through the NE winter, then bloom again next spring and summer..........or you get your money back. So I have carefully put aside the receipt and the guaratee paper...and hope I can find it next spring if they don't bloom!

Had and e-mail from my BIL out in Colorado.....my little 4 yr old nephew is at the hospital apparently he woke up with severe tummy ache and they went to the ER...his White Blood Cell count was high so they did a CT thinking it may be his appendix...but that was negative. They took a swab for strep because the doc said strep could cause severe abdominal pain (?) but they don't have the result yet. They are keeping him overnight for observation, my sister will stay with him. BIL was sent home for supplies and to do the e-mail and make calls, then he will go back, before heading home for the night to the 2 cats, nicely behaved welsh corgi dog, and their newest addition- a St Bernard/Great Pyrynees puppy-who needless to say can't be left alone TOO long Soliciting P and PD for the little guy!!! I'll keep you posted.

Hi all!! Nice weekend....lousy weather though
Jelley Stone wasn't quite as fun as it used to be when the kids were small....and the campsites were more like a parking lot...nuttin like trying to rake in all the dollars you can by fitting in more trailers Some of the trailers couldn't even put their awnings down...not enough room
